Eddie will probably try to pursuade Brook to come out of the closet (allegedly) at the press conference and say that he’s been pushed into before he was ready by Khan...that way all the liberals, rainbow people and Meetoo will come storming into action to support him and it will become a national debate which will draw everybody in and thus massive PPV and a sold out Wembley...I should be a promoter..Eddie I’m waiting for your call.
Khan-Brook shouldn’t be PPV let alone a stadium fight but we all know it will be. So the best we can hope for is an amazing undercard. Eddie has a big roster and a penchant for delivering good undercard fights so let’s wait and see what we get served. I wasn’t THAT adverse to Joshua-Whyte as it was. Lol
Wit??! of course Khan v Brook is PPV fight otherwise it couldn't be made due to the purses the guys want! if you think Khan v Brook doesn't do big numbers you are mental.
Credit to Joshua if he leaves the comfort of his own backyard and fights at MSG, especially to take on a huge lump like Miller. I’m not sold on Miller but with his size he’s not an easy night by any stretch especially if you don’t knock him out in first few rounds.
Seen a recent video of Joshua who says he hopes Whyte gets beaten by Delboy , maybe he doesn't fancy the return...
Warren had Khan v both Salita and Prescott on PPV. Surely you understand that if they are PPV fights Khan Brook is?
Still don't get the 'credit for going away' stuff. Prizefighters fight where the prize is biggest by and large. I don't give Froch extra credit for fighting Kessler in Denmark when Calzaghe fought him in Wales. That happened because Carl was badly promoted and Joe was massively popular at the time. If Joshua goes to America it'll be for financial reasons.
Why on earth are you bringing up Warren? He’s got absolutely nothing to do with this thread.. What is it with the freaks on here who bring the Warren/Matchroom allegiances into every thread here? I don’t give a **** about numbers, for me Khan-Brook with their current form right now and no titles is never a PPV. Both were poor in their last fights against C Grade opposition. I don’t give a **** about numbers. Theresa May v Angela Merkel would do crazy numbers. Does that make it a PPV quality scrap?
Also other people who are saying that Khan-Brook HAS to be on PPV for the fight to happen? Why exactly? Because Hearn said so? Why should two titleless over the hill fighters well past their prime have a career high pay day at this stage in their careers? Because there’s “beef”? It really is Pay Per Pudding central here. I sure as **** won’t be giving my earnings to these two past their best puddings, I’ll watch it for free lol.
Your last point is indicative of the fact that you don't understand what makes a PPV fight. It's like arguing what should be Christmas number one. It's the single that sells the most in the week before Christmas. That's it. It doesn't matter if it's the Beatles or Bob the Builder.
This fight, just like Whyte-Chisora is PPV because Hearn and all the fighters involved are so arrogant in thinking that they must be paid 7-figure sums to fight each other. That's what makes it PPV in the first instance. The greed of the fighters and the promoter. The fact that fans are dumb enough to pay for it is not the chief factor. Neither fight should be PPV in a million years.
I wonder if this may just be passed its sell by date even for the Sky Machine. Brook and Khans tickets recently haven't been flying out the door. I know it will still sell, but think it may be lower than people expect.
