Let’s say the fight happens in May. Can he come out with something new and knock Canelo out or it’s not really possible?

I think this time he should go really “Mexican style”, and kill or get killed because they won’t would rob him again.

I think he won both fights but he kept it too safe. He thought the judges are going to be fair.

He already outboxed Canelo on the backfoot and the front foot. Now he has to go sideways IMO

I feel it would be another close fight with the judges. Depends on if they like quality or quantity.

Problem is that loading up on his shots will play into Canelo's hands because he really is good at countering.

What he can try that he hasn't tried before is to fight really close and smother Canelo.

Golovkin is good at fighting in the wheelhouse, but then, so is Canelo. Fighting close means that Canelo's upperbody defence will be negated to some degree, but on the other hand, Canelo is a good hooker and he's faster than GGG. So, pros and cons. One punch that they have both proven they are susceptible to is the uppercut, and if Golovkin wants to turn it into a battle of attrition then this will feature prominently. He's also going to have to go to the body if he tries to crowd Canelo.

I'm not really sure what GGG can do differently to get the KO, because he will need the KO with Canelo's judges.

Maybe forcing the issue and wrestling Canelo around will punch a hole through his leaky gas tank?

They will disqualify Golovkin if he wrestles

He should KO the judges during his ring walk, then get in the ring and outbox Canelo again.

He tried to win legitimate by his classy boxing skills,he may well try the street fighting thing but I think he knows the difference between Brook and Canelo and imo if he tries that he may get knocked out.

probably not. He could be a little more aggressive and take chances and try to land a big punch, but then he leaves himself more open. He could do Hagler vs. Hearns and make it a 3 round war. Come out smoking and those fights never last long. How great would that be? I think he might win that style.

nah, it was said Golovkin was vulnerable to the uppercut coming into the first bout but Golovkin stuff most of Canelos attempts in both fights.

He might bring lower fitness levels if he doesn’t get active. Canelo May stop him this time round, no matter what GGG does he will not be able to beat Canelo at this age with this level of activity
