As I have said it is totally different, although Buatsi has world level potential it is still potential. The truth is he has looked very good so far but with just 8 fights under his belt this is a decent opponent imo. When it comes to the Eubank fight with Quinlan, this was CEJ 25th fight, it was top of the bill for the IBO title and on ITV PPV so was always going to draw criticism. I would like see Buatsi secure a shot at the British or Commonwealth after this fight though against a decent opponent.

The tide looks like it's turning on Hearn. Look at the comments on social media, it's usually a love in telling him how great he is with a few negatives. Now he is getting it pretty bad, even the IFL comments are bad for him.

He needs to pull something out the bag.

the thing is thou its not really a ppv fight is it ? The problem is that quilan is not really a light heavyweight. he mainly fought at super middle. At least he will come to fight. its a shame it wasn't burton.

Fights are PPV worthy or not based on how many people buy them. If Eubank Quinlan did a million sales it's a PPV fight. If Joshua Fury did 50k it's not.

Not sure why anyone would seriously have a problem with this fight. Buatsi is 8-0 for gods sake.

Exactly, I really don't get this 'It's not a PPV fight' claim, this is an undercard fight on a PPV not the main event! no one who buys the event will be purchasing it thinking wow forget Whyte vs Chisora 2 I wanna pay to see 8-0 Joshua Buatsi

Edward complaining last night on IFL about the "weirdo's" who are saying Rocky is gonna get smashed by Canelo. The same man who says Joshua is gonna destroy Wilder in a bloodbath.

Same man who for weeks was insisting that Wilder would KO Fury. The guy really needs to start thinking before he starts speaking his usual shite.

Hearn still doesnt know what lineal champion means

Look at the dislikes on the video too, not even the matchroom fanboys can improve the ratio

Wow, that video ..... Eddie Hearn even went so far as to almost downplay Wladimir Klitschko as "the man" (when Fury beat him) and is completely set to attack mode with this whole "lineal doesn't exist" stuff.

    LINEAL isn't difficult to understand.
ALL titles are lineal to some extent - ie. when a challenger beats the champion he becomes the champion.
Fury beat THE MAN, the man everyone seriously regarded as the world champion.
So until Fury loses, he's the champion.

for someone who is as PR savvy as he seems to be, or at the very least, the people he employs, he really is having a mare with this. Everyone knows full well that if AJ had fought Klitschko first, he wouldn't shut up about Joshua being the lineal champion and how historical it was.

i don't listen to his interviews because i think he is an attention seeking arse, but i like to read the comments. The way he disses fury, the negative comments about him are getting more common, like i said before he a great salesman but quite often missells.

Agreed. I've been surprised how quick he's been to start denigrating Fury, not that it's in his interest to promote him of course but the digs about the fight itself, the lineal and the drug test comments came a lot quicker than I thought. I thought he'd give it a least a few months of fairly respectful nothing-bytes before going in with the spite.

Clearly, he's well out of his comfort zone with Joshua not being the talk of the town anymore.

Oh don't worry about that, Eddie will have his chief bumsquad including Darren "do you have some sniff?" Barker and Django Johnny Nelson creating multiple YouTube accounts to level up that ratio.
