How do I put that clown Hayers on the ignore list? Never felt the need to do it before but I'm no longer reading the pretentious opinion of a matchroom employee.

Coincidentally, I've been banned twice recently. The forum has been taken over by the matchroom cult. Sad times for a great forum.

The ring magazine still have their heavyweight champion as vacant. According to their criteria, the champion won't be decided until Fury faces Joshua. I'd prefer to go with that rather than 'lineal
Champ' which is a load of s**te used by promoters.

I don't understand the alt comments. Fairly sure someone would be able to confirm I'm not one? This is the only account I've ever had on here. Nor am I Darren Barker, Michael Buffer, or Adam Smith.

Odd though that if you view Hearn as a better promoter than Warren (which I obviously do), and don't find Tyson Fury to be that exciting (which I don't), you must be a Matchroom employee. I don't think people who believe Liverpool are better than Man City work for the club.

I have absolutely no problem with you having an alternative point of view. Inferno was a decent poster at times, but he got giddy. So did his alts before then, they come and go all the time. You popped up in November just as he got banned. He was very anti-Fury, said very similar things to you. We’ll see how you get on.

 

His point of view is always with the highest bidder or where the wind is blowing. He always tweets about really basic politically correct politics too. Of course he’d be a democrat.

He also had the gall to criticise the appearance of a 90 year old recently when he’s clearly had thousands of dollars of work done.

 

Hearn laying into the lineal championship this week.

He actually made some decent points, but you just know if Fury signed for him then he would be shouting lineal from the rooftops. Seem to remember him playing it up when Fury was a free agent.

 

You could probably dig up some old videos of him slaying Chisora when he was with Warren and now he has him on PPV after suffering more defeats. I love Chisora but I am still in hysterics at the thought of mugs paying to see him main event tonight.

 

I have to disagree, for me lineage means more than ABC belts. ABC belts literally go to whoever will pay the sanctioning bodies most, its not about who is the best. Thats why lineage should be held in high regard, cause the title is about who is the best not the biggest money maker.

 

I was actually having this conversation with my mate this morning. The last thing Hearn wants is any kind of analysis of Dereck's fights this last few years. I genuinely believe that's part of the reason he made the clash with the BT card. It's just another distraction from the boxing merit this holds as a PPV.

I'll wager there are thousands of casual fans having conversations today saying they are paying for the heavyweight fight over those little guys who 'don't have any power', 'too small for me' etc..

 

The bit I can understand is Joshua's priority being to become undisputed heavyweight champ. And I think Hearn is right in saying that's virtually always the case with boxers. I don't hear up and coming fighters saying they dream of becoming the lineal champion. They just want to win all the belts, which the vast majority of the time would make them lineal champ.

But of course it's a bit rich Hearn saying it when you know he would milk the 'lineal' thing to death if it benefited him in any way.

 

Another funny thing is Joshua saying when he was growing up he only knew about the WBC, WBO, IBF, WBA, when the WBO wasn't considered a major belt till he was nearly an adult.
