Ortiz vs Povetkin Ok the jury is still out on ortiz’s real age but for the moment we’ll go with what is listed on google. I think this is an excellent fight to make right now, a cross roads for both men. Clash of styles make for a good fight but I’m leaning towards Povetkin How do you see it?
Povetkin by KO. At 39 Povetkin has lost little. As supposedly 39 Ortiz is looking flat footed, static and lethargic. Haymon will never let Ortiz fight a Joshua opponent though, likewise as Ortiz is laughing the amount hes getting paid to fight the Kauffman's and likes to ever chase a povetkin.
One of those fights that's unlikely to happen but would be intriguing if it ever did. I think Povetkin moves better and is a good enough boxer not to allow Ortiz's southpaw stance to become a problem. He's a level above Ortiz in my view.
Povetkin KO's him in 3 rounds. Ortiz is very skillful, but he has no movement. Anybody who dares stand still against Povetkin gets hit by a barrage of hooks.
Would love to see this fight, Povetkin looked great against AJ, was sharp, fast and accurate, i actualy think they are both quite similar Povetkin being the faster and sharper guy with better footwork, ortiz with more power
Would love this fight. I still think very highly of povetkin and I'm sure he's a full level above Ortiz and always was. Ortiz gets so many plaudits but what has he ever done? Who has he beat to make us all go wow? I don't rate wilder that high and even he beat him, with a touch of corruption ofcourse.
I think it's potentially one of the best fights that can be made in the division and (for drama) even the sport at large. I have Ortiz by mid-to-late KO in a chess match that will degenerate into a brawl. Everybody is ducking both guys. Make the fight.
Alexander Pov stopped Ortiz on the outscored rule in the amateurs, including dropping him which the ref decided not to count for some strange reason.
I see Ortiz knocking out Povetkin inside 5, he ain't the boxer mover anymore, when he stops ,and he will , he gets ko'ed
