Well after seeing Fury Wilder I'm sorta leaning more toward AJ..

Wilder showed he is going to get pushed around by a good big man and out boxed by a better boxer. AJ would be at least as strong as Fury plus he hits far harder. He isn't as good a boxer as Fury but he is good enough to catch Wilder and AJ always finishes a hurt opponent.

I'm now more certain the AJ would catch Wilder far earlier that Wilder catching AJ and unlike Fury ending Wilder by ko..

AJ and Fury is a bit harder because it would come down to AJ catching Fury and finishing him.. Wilder wasn't big or strong enough to finish Fury in the two time he had him hurt.. AJ on the other hand is far stronger and can fight on the inside so he has far more options to finish.

I don't think AJ will respect Fury's power so he may be more willing to be more aggressive which will prove to be a problem.

Now there are always some caveats.

Wilder always has the chance to ko either of them, he put Fury down twice once hard which is a good effort even against a ring rust Fury..

Fury is the master boxer and he should get better after getting a good workout for the first time in 3 years.. A fully functioning 100% Fury may have been able to avoid Wilder and coasted to a easy UD victory. He may just do that against AJ..

Right now I would have to favour AJ..

Fury got put down twice by a very limited Wilder, who is overrated. Fury has the skills to cause Joshua some trouble, but if Wilder can do that to him it's going to happen again against a much better boxer in Joshua who is also very powerful. I think it's difficult for anyone to beat Joshua when he's always going to be fighting in his own backyard and no doubt he will be protected as much as possible. I predict that Joshua will be in control of the division for a long time to come. I would not be shocked if Wilder and Fury both retired after the defeats to Joshua.

AJ for me to have the best chance of becoming undisputed.

Wilder isn’t very good and it doesn’t even look like he is prepared to travel, so the best he can hope for is to hold the WBC belt hostage. He will hold it hostage until one of his cherrypicked defences chins him, which will happen as his reflexes and speed are lost with age. If he comes to the U.K. to face AJ, then I think AJ brutally knocks him out.

Tyson Fury isn’t stable enough to fight consistently enough to become undisputed. Also if he does face AJ, he doesn’t have the power or commit enough behind his punches to take it away from the judges. So even if he faces AJ and edges it, he still loses the fight on the judges cards. Tyson Fury could explode at any time into a drink and cocaine binge for me. Especially with the hard dieting and hard training affecting his mental state.

AJ is better than the other 2 and I have been saying this for sometime. The man to beat AJ isn’t currently an elite mature HW, this man is out there though. It will be one of those 50 or so prospects on their way up that will day be beating AJ and becoming the next man of the division. Until then AJ is the champion and perhaps undisputed for some period time as well.

I think most people see the Wilder Fury fight as evidence, that Wilder lacks the boxing skills to get through enough rounds against AJ to land anything. Had that been AJ in there with those openings he would have committed to his punches earlier on in the fight and cleaned Wilder out inside 6.

Wilders skills deficiency is too great for him to even be competitive enough to land that big punch. Fury just proved as usual he is too timid and too safety first to grab the bull by the horns, when it was clear he was getting stiffed on the cards anyway.

    1. Fury
    2. Joshua
    3. Wilder

    Fury beats Joshua beats Wilder.

But...this is HW boxing, one punch can change all that.

AJ is the best out there. He's a solid technician who is getting steadily better and has fight-ending power. The thing that impresses me about Joshua is the way he is now setting traps and is patient enough to let the other fighter fall into them. If you add to the fact that he has slackened off the bodybuilder focus and has realised that he doesn't need to be ripped to shreds to be the best boxer tells me that he is listening to his team and those around him. And he has that inside game and potent combinations which means he can stop even solid-chinned fighters who can maybe take a single shot well but not the following 2-3 punches. Combination punching is the key to knocking out a fighter with a very good chin.

I wouldn't call Fury a master boxer as such. What he does have is excellent movement and awkwardness aligned to a good jab. If Wilder can land on him I'm sure Joshua can too and assuming he did, I think AJ would finish the job if he hurt Fury. It's possible that Fury outfoxes Joshua over 12 rounds but I can't see Joshua not landing with hard shots at some point.

Wilder is the weakest of the 3. He has big power and speed but lacks AJ's technique and combination punching. He'd lose to both Fury and AJ if they fought, indeed has already lost to Fury in pretty much most people's eyes. I'm not surprised he doesn't fancy the rematch or the AJ fight. He knows his O must go quite soon.

I voted Joshua because I think that him and Wilder will fight and if they do Joshua wins.
I think Fury beats Wilder (as he's proved already by beating him) and he beats Joshua.
But I don't believe that Fury and Joshua will ever fight. It will be a shame if that fight doesn't happen because that is the fight that i won't want to see.
I don't think it's the fighters who will dodge each other but egos like Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith will effect it. I also don't think sky and BT will come to an agreement.

Wilder might have more fights but his last 9 fights are the only decent opponents he's had. He went up against Fury and was given a boxing lesson. He's a rubbish boxer he has a punchers chance.
As for Joshua being scared of Wilder, Wilder has said Joshua is begging for the fight so if the fight doesn't happen it's no ones fault but Wilder's.
How can he be the safest bet when really everyone knows he lost to Fury.

Joshua. Bigger strongest of them all. I will be nervous if he has to take a Wilder punch, but I think he will take it better than many think he could.

There is no safe bet. I’d have to back Joshua I guess. He’s been the most consistent. He’s certainly a better boxer than Wilder. Fury’s a different animal though, but he lacks power. If Joshua’s aggressive he could get him out of there. If not, Joshua will get the house decision on the cards. Logical approach.

In a big fight with fair judging Fury. He is the most naturally talented of the three.

I voted Joshua , I think Fury is probably going to be his toughest fight , Fury makes everything harder for any opponent .

The reason I voted Joshua is because he is the most dedicated , he has won each belt from different opponents and defended them multiple occasions against a variety of quality opponents . My biggest concern for AJ was he was too muscle bound but after Klitschko he has changed that around .

Fury is too temperamental , it seems to take more out of him and he really needs to pump himself up to fight when he can be bothered . Other times I see Fury switch off and walk away , straight after Klitschko he walked away from boxing , this is a problem for long term with Fury as he can never keep what he wins and then becomes frustrated at his victory. This happens to him multiple times and I think will happen again much sooner than people think.

Wilder , to be honest I don't think Wilder is a top 5 boxer at all , I see 3 American boxers better than him and I think he has been carried throughout his career . Remember Wilder is supposed to be in his prime , his fans dine on "But muh Ortiz fight" and constantly berate every other boxer other than Ortiz . His desperation is showing and I think his time as a boxer never mind champion is on borrowed time . He has never made any move to unify the division let alone becoming undisputed .

I can see other opponents like MIller (yes I said that) being more of a problem than Wilder . The division is in a very competitive state with boxers like Pulev , Miller , Whyte hell even Chisora and Breazeale can make a huge impact with a shock fight victory and who knows (heard a rumor that Klitschko could return), could be in 5 months this thread is obsolete and redundant .

Exciting times for the heavyweight division.

    More or less this.

Joshua is so solid. He seems like a cinch to become undisputed.

... until Fury rolls out of bed, scratches his arse and decides that for the next two fights against Wilder and Joshua, he's going to train the hardest he's ever done.

He'll probably take the belts, go on a coke binge and lose to Chisora.
