Ward is a cheating scumbag & sadly Tony Weekes must have had a rocket for calling May/Maidana straight down the line. & not follow orders he'd got a price too obviously

No never have I always been a big supporter of Wilder. I gave him grief because he was never stepping up to the plate.

Once he started going after the big boys, I gave him credit.

You can find similar with my view of Spence. I always felt he was avoiding the big fights, but once he stepped up and proved he was the real deal, I gave him the credit and is now one of my favorite welterweight's to watch.

It will be the same with Terrance Crawford if he steps up and begins fighting live bodies and proves he is this great fighter that everyone claims he is.

Until then I will question whether he has what he takes.

Are you confused or just being sarcastic towards people who don't like Wilder?

    Hmmmmm what?

You can find my opinion change on a lot of boxers.

Like I said to above poster, you can find a thread on me criticizing Errol Spence just as harshly before he had proven himself and his ability.

So you went from being a very harsh critic of Wilder to a huge Wilder fan based on the Ortiz fight alone ?

After getting a closer look at what was happening behind the scenes and from seeing his attemptsto fight the likes of Parker and do everything in his power to secure fights with povetkin and Ortiz, I began giving him the benefit of the doubt. It was then I could appreciate his unique talent and understood why these fighters feared him so much that they would rather fight their own sparring partners then share the same ring

Likewise even with Canelo who I detest for all the cheating he has done, earned my respect for the way he stood toe to toe with GGG and traded in the rematch even though I felt he lost.

Understand that I am very flexible and honest in my assessment of fighters. It's what seperates me from most of the pig headed posters on this on place.

A mans entitled to change his opinion, but your views seem a little extreme in either direction.

What changed between then and now? From calling him a “cowardly fraud” to becoming his ambassador within 18 months

I criticized Wilder in the past as well but turned it around once he stepped up and beat Ortiz from a near defeat. He proved a lot in that fight. He did well against Fury as well.

There is nothing wrong with changing your opinion of a fighter.

    I already explained what happened.

He proved he was the real deal.

If you go through my post history you will see my opinion has changed with many fighters, from Canelo, Spence, Brook(who I use be a big advocate until he bowed down before Spence) , Mayweather, Fury, Whyte, Browne.

The list goes on. If you anyone says they have the same opinion on a fighter throughout their career, then they are lying.
