Why did Curry lose to Honeyghan?

I asked if you ever considered that Honeyghan was better than Jones and McCrory. You said you did and it was wrong.

    Now you're denying it.

Are you saying Colin Jones has a better resume than Lloyd Honeyghan?

Who'd Colin Jones beat on his amazing resume?

This is just ridiculous at this point.

    Merry Christmas.

We both know that's not what I was talking about. What I stand by is that he compares favorably to anyone Honeyghan defended against, and he wasn't even the best scalp in Curry's resume.

    Probably Starling, then McCrory.

Probably Starling. Yes. Curry beat Starling. And Honeyghan beat Curry. And Starling beat Honeyghan. Like I said.

(McCrory didn't beat anyone really. We all know that.)

Honeyghan also knocked out Rosi (another big Curry win for a belt). Honeghan knocked out Stafford (Which McCrory couldn't do.). Honeghan knocked out Curry (Which McCrory couldn't do.)

Again, I see how none if this makes Donald Curry anything other just one of the many champs of that good but not great era.

Whatever. Myths are hard to kill. Clearly.

    That's a comical breakdown of Garcia's resume. Let's see:

Morales: The CORPSE that used to be Erik Morales, you mean? The Erik Morales who peaked at 122-130 and was never effective at all beyond 130? That Erik Morales?

Judah: Zab was way past his prime, and Danny struggled with him. Leads me to believe a prime Judah would have won that fight.

Khan: LOL. The joke that is Khan. I shutter to think what Curry would have done to Khan... woulda been short and ugly.

Peterson: Danny got a gift against Peterson, same as the Herrera fight.

I know you like being a contrarian, but in this case maybe you just side with the conventional opinion... Danny Garcia was in no way, shape, or form as good as Curry.

Curry woulda beaten the crap outta Garcia. Not a difficult fight at all for Curry.

Nice try to sidestep what you said. You were saying NINO LAROCCA would school Garcia. You were bragging on the GREAT NINO LAROCCA. That's what I was responding to.

Why don't you break down LAROCCA's resume to make your point about how much better he was than Garcia?

Let's see, there were the 40 Italians who nobody ever heard of who he beat. And there was Bobby Joe Young. And then he lost to everyone else.

Not quite the same as beating Erik Morales and Khan and Judah and Matthysse and Malignaggi and Peterson and everyone else.

But go ahead. Break down why you felt NINO LAROCCA would school Garcia and why Larocca was such a GREAT WIN for Curry.

Break down Larocca's resume just like you did GARCIA's.

See if you can do better than people who had two days to name ANYONE from Colin Jones' win list ... and couldn't come up with anyone.

Hold Larocca to the same standards you held Garcia. See how that works out for you.

I'd pick Larocca over Garcia due to styles. Danny point blank cannot deal with any kind of movement. His footwork is slow, ponderous, and he has no clue how to cut the ring.

Garcia is ONLY effective as a counterpuncher.

    Fair enough.
But looking at the records he is right to say Honeyghan, Curry, Starling etc. were about on same level.

Curry performed at a higher level than those for a period. His crash was ugly is the thing.
