Take the pure KO's like Hearns vs Duran and Marciano vs Walcott out of it, what were the greatest knock downs of all time? Duran vs Moore was pretty and brutal, hell Wilder vs Fury from this month might be one of TBE.

Wilder - Fury was huge and Shavers - Holmes was something too.

Actually wrote to a guy on twitter how much Tyson v Wilder reminded me of Shavers KD. Tyson handled it better though.

I thought of the Shavers right that landed as soon as Wilder flawed Fury and then he got up.

Nikri, always loved that knockdown. I would also add in the first knockdown scored by Donald Curry against Milt McCrory in the 2nd round, the 12th round knockdown scored by Alexis Arguello against Boom Boom Mancini and the 4th round knockdown scored by Jack Sharkey over Primo Carnera in their first fight.

The classic Is Robinson knocking out Fullmer if you’re talking ones that ended fights. One where the guy got up would be Shavers dropping James Tillis.

This has always been my go to for "How the hell did he get up from that punch!" Rex Layne v Bob Satterfield and it's hard to believe Rex got up and won that fight. Check it out at the 26 second mark.

How Foreman got up to defeat Lyle is pretty astonishing .. he looked dead to the world at the end of round four ..

    Great choices, scartissue !

I love especially the Curry's knockdown: a lightning left hook that McCrory did not even see when he was struck ..
