can anyone explain why this is ppv as I’m finding it difficult to understand why it is. Warrington and frampton is and I get that a little even though that’s pushing it . But this fight should never in a million years be

I was reading British boxing pundit Colin Hart complain about this too and he also stated that though the purists and real fight fans will pay for the Frampton defense, Whyte v Chisora will probably outdo the Frampton fight at the box office.

The first fight was a tear up

    Genuine animosity between the opponents

Public stupidity and spending peaks at this time of year so why not exploit it?

Bottom line - if people are ready to pay, you've got to be ready to take their money.

I was chatting to my local landlord this week, he’s really pissed about the double ppv just before Xmas. He said to have the sports package for the pub it’s £2000 a month and then to show a ppv it’s £200 a go! He’s only buying the sky one.

Lots of people like to watch a slugfest, I get it, each to their own, but I won't be buying this one. I'll be watching The BT fight instead.

    Why was Haye/Bellew a PPV?

Fact is some fighters draw and the demand is there for this fight that it will likely do very well on PPV. Fans might not like it but the market is driven by the demand, if the demand wasn't there it wouldn't be PPV.

The UK market right now is hungry for good competitive fights or fighters it can rally behind. Usyk/Bellew did 603K and this fight is a guaranteed war so I expect similar numbers. I guess this is the price we pay for boxing being so popular now in the UK.

I get the impression that once you are given PPV status as Whyte has then to then go back on to normal TV is a bit of a failure. Not something i agree with as apart from the serious PPV stars like Joshua its all about whether a fight is PPV worthy over a fighter being PPV worthy and i can see the argument for this fight being PPV worthy and i can see the argument for it not.

Outside of the UK this must be seen as a crap nothing fight but within the UK its a domestic Nuclear bomb ready to go off, there is years of beef between them and the 1st fight was fantastic. Its a good domestic fight and to be fair only UK fans are being asked to pay for it.

Yeah im guessing so, I saw a live interview with Warren just this morning and he said there had been no talk about staggering anything tonight, these cards are just straight up clashing with each other.

Because it makes plenty of money being a PPV. Any other reason a fight could have being PPV is a distant second.

The Frampton-Warrington card is far longer and Warren shows have a habit of dragging on, so I think we will be able to comfortably watch both.

Yeah me too, i think. I am pissed about it though i think both headlines are great. Frampton Warrington is certainly dishing up a higher standard of Boxing, Carl is an elite level operator. If im honest im still weighing them up but at the back of my mind i can already feel the Sky one winning. Im just hoping there is some sort of natural stagger tonight and then i can atleast focus on one of them on the RBR on here but i really cant see us gettting that lucky.

Bit of ****s trick from Hearn this was. Warren fight was made first so Hearn did it knowing that it would clash
