He would have been stripped of the IBF if he didn't fight Takam, and he would have been stripped of the WBA if he didn't fight Povetkin.

Bit unfair on a guy whose main objective is to become undisputed don't you think?

Lewis has a point and Hearn is not doing AJ any favors publicly. He’s not a likeable character and he comes off as a sneak. Even with all of AJ’s talk recently he’s still going to the money and the split stuff he really needs to stop talking about the money publicly

 

AJ is on juice but in UK he can juice as much as he wants and still never fail a test , in US anything can happen.

 

AJ fought Povetkin who I'd take over both Wilder and the Pianeta version of Fury.

 

AJ fighting Wilder and Fury is like Brexit the people want it but it ain't gonna happen .

Takum was a substitute for Pulev. Pulev, who Joshua was due to fight has a better resume than Ortiz and arguable to Wilder.
Its arguable that Povetkin has a better resume than Wilder as well and Povetkin has a better resume than Ortiz

Joshua has had less fights than Ortiz and Wilder but has had bigger fights imo

 

I doubt he's ever self-identified as a Brit. He's spent most of his life living in Canada and the US. He's openly admitted in interviews that the only reason he turned pro in the UK was due to there not being a suitable promoter to sign with in Canada.

 

I don't think Joshua is afraid to fight anybody, he just comes across as a control freak who needs to have everything go his own way.

 

Why ortiz instead of Povetkin? Povetkin KO'ed Ortiz in the amateurs and has far superior resume fighting at a higher level than Ortiz in the pros.

 

Lewis also said that Fury exposed Wilder but since that doesn't fit into your narrative/bias you reject it.
