Just been announced that the Buatsi-Quinlan fight is the last fight he well referee before retiring. Not sure whether he will continue to judge but I welcome this news. He constantly ruins the drama of a scorecard being read out by clearly shaking the fist of the winner and telling them on camera that they have won.
****ing laughable. Buatsi knocks Quinlan out on his feet when the ref clearly called for them to stop boxing. Buatsi should have been DQ’d for that. Good riddance to the chubby checker Terry.
Terry's worst performance was when he gave Tyson Fury the win against Mcdermott in their first fight. A complete robbery.
O'Connor never gets himself in between fighters properly also, so glad that's his last fight as a ref.
Just seen the huge left hook after he called break. I immediately said he should be DQ'd for that , he then pulls the fighter to his feet without giving him a break and carrys on like nothing's happened...

I used to be a fan of Buatsi but his disgraceful interview afterwards when he said “protect yourself at all times” lost me as a fan. The ref was literally pulling them apart when he threw the left hook. Then Sky glossing over it. Django Johnny and even Paulie which is disappointing calling it a borderline offence. Absolutely despicable conduct from the home parties involved, Buatsi, Sky, and O’Connor.
Mate go and YouTube the first Whyte-Chisora fight and scroll to the decision. That was the first time I noticed it and he does it all the time. Kills the tension completely.
I'm disappointed that it wasn't a double announcement with Ian John Lewis. 116-113 Bellotti is without doubt the worst card I've heard this year, disgusting in my opinion. Complete incompetence or Lewis is corrupt, that simple. Anyway, I won't miss O'Connor, the man has been an embarrassment to British boxing over the years.
