I don't understand why everyone is crying robbery. Harrison produced the quality work and rocked charlo's head mad times.

    -clean jabs
-solid defense (deflecting punches and footwork)
    -counter right hands
    -occassional combinations which landed

he pretty much neutralised charlo all night....although charlo had some occasional success...

judges finally got it right. congrats to the new champ....

jermell got outboxed, simple as that

Harrison did win but not easily. I had it 115-113 for Harrison but Joe Goosen was biased.

he did not win easy but it was an easy fight to score....charlo was reduced to slugging while harrison stuck to the sweet science...well executed game plan

Happy for Harrison, he should take a home town fight, rematch Charlo, then fight Hurd. I believe Hurd is all wrong for Harrison style wise.

Harrison was outworked. He landed very little in terms of power punches and landed occasional jabs.

I had it 7-5 for Jermell, not a robbery though, it could have gone either way or a draw too.

Jermell fought Harrison’s fight , he gave him space and tried to box with him which is silly. There are a few guys you don’t try to box at 154, Lara and Harrison these guys are quality at long range. In the rematch I got Jermell provided he invests in the body and he walks Harrison down.

Skills pay the bills, Tony did a brilliant Money May impersonation last night and put on a masterclass, its a pity the commentators heads were so far up Jermello's ass they missed all of it. But I guess these sweet science guys are all about the ineffective aggression of plodding one note KO artists.

That being said, it was a close fight 114-114/115-113, but Harrison earned it and deserved the nod. Finally doing enough to lose 7-5 caught up to Jermell. I'm thrilled for Harrison, who I hyped on here years ago. Glad it was him who did the dethroning.:D

Thank the nerd god for Youtube. It was not a easy fight for Hurd either. Up until Tony faded Hurd was eating the same jabs that Jermell ate.
I believe people give Harrison doubt because Willie Nelson KO'd him and Hurd wore him down so he was written off because of loses and I hate that ****. Because you loss does not mean you are terrible, it means you loss to the better man or bad scoring, but either way you can learn and get better. Man Harrison can fight but with the PBC machine only marketing who Haymon really likes, he might never get the recognition he deserves.

Agree, I've been high on Tony for quite some time, I actually picked Harrison to beat Hurd, and dammit, he did well until about the 7th, until he gassed, but since then, it seems he's gotten his stamina on track, he was solid from start to finish with Ishe and only looked bad in the last two last night. Its no given that Hurd beats him in a rematch.

I agree about announcers. THEY SEEM TO HAVE their fave that's it. Harrison did fight his fight.Charlo threw a lot wild misses.HARRISON DIDNT SEEM SURPRIZED AT VERDICT.

I honestly thought Jermell won, the fight was close so not a robbery.

Thing is I don't think Jermell will ever be able to walk Tony down lol
He is not a pressure fighter, he starts winging punches and losing his poise.

Jermell needs to make Tony come to him, catch him on the way in.
Jermell can punch but he's not a big puncher. He can out skill Tony he doesn't need to out fight him.

Thats why I always felt Hurd would wipe Jermell out tbh.
Jermell thinks he's a puncher and that he can go toe to toe with anyone.

Hurd would take his shots and hit him back twice as hard lol. Jermell could be all wrong for Hurd if he used his skills and movement but thats not what he's doing lately. He has an identity crisis atm, being a pressure fighter is not his game.

It works on chinny guys but not on a bloke like Hurd, no way.

No one @ 154 can go toe to toe with Hurd

Anyone with common sense would realise it was a close fight. Forget the bull commentary, you’d have thought Jermell was winning every second of every round. The facts are Jermell is not that good and neither is his brother...
