it a day imo. Just watched a couple of interviews and its looking like that to me. Heaped loads of praise on Warrington which was great to see, but I think Carl's done and needs to retire. Taking nothing away from Josh, but that's not a prime Frampton anymore, its always a tough fight if they fought, but Frampton i'm sure beats Josh even 2 fights ago. Opinions ?

I haven't seen the fight yet but I feel bad for Frampton and I suspect he probably will call it a day. He's a class act both in and outside of the ring and he had a great career.

Nice to see the mutual respect between him and Warrington as it was to see it between Whyte and Chisora after their fight tonight too.

If you weren't a fan of Frampton before, you would be now. Thorough gent and Warrington, the scene of them in the dressing room is a golden moment in Boxing, what its all about, respect..

Barry is not the man Frampton is imo..Frampton I thought didn't really show his good side as much while with McGuigan, not McGuigans fault, but theres something spiteful about fighters under there banner lol

I was already a fan of his but I'm an even bigger one now after seeing how classy he was in defeat. Great guy.

Yeah it's always good to see that.

He's been in too many wars. He's definitely finished at top level and he will have enough money that he doesn't need to fight on.

Agree with everything except that he'd have beaten Josh a couple fights ago. I thought Frampton would win the fight, quite confidently actually. But having seen it now, got to finally give the credit where its due, I'm not going to keep saying Selby was drained, or Frampton was finished.
Kid has shown he's actually class, which I really doubted beforehand. So all credit to him, hope he goes onto the great things he seems ready for now.

The Frampton we saw last night is still the same Frampton from a couple of years ago. Don't take anything away from Josh Warrington, he outworked and outfought Frampton who looked exactly as he is, a skilled, tidy boxer but a blown up super bantam. Carl's in ring downfall wasn't after the LSC fight, it began in either the Quigg fight or the one before.

Carl's not as mentally dialled in to the boxing business as he was a couple of years ago but Warrington broke Frampton's will and spirit in the first two rounds of yesterdays contest. Both are great for the sport and Frampton can retire with his head held high at the right age.
