odds are i've lived through more than you. i am 52. it doesn't upset me. i like him far better than Fury or Wilder. i just think all three are dead men walking.
With every era we hear the same BS about it being the “worst ever” or “most boring” Then 10 years after that era has finished the same people are saying that era was the best, and why can’t todays era be as good. I have seen the same pattern play out over 4 different eras in my lifetime. It plays out that way with every era. Lewis was absolute trash and his era was terrible at the time. Now he has been retired for 15 years he is finally getting a lot of credit.
It is decent, exciting, and promising. Really, right now, there is Joshua and Fury, and then everyone else, as Wilder and Whyte are not in their class. Miller is just a PEDS guy. There are a lot of good, exciting fights happening right now, and a lot of things could open up with these prospects. Its not the 70's or 90's, but its not the 80's or 2000's either.
That's just the thing. There may be a lot of up and comers but they're still very green. The leftovers from the last era are crowding out the top ranks. In about 3 years things may be interesting again.
What's the difference? We have the best guys in the division making exciting competitive fights. As fans, what more can we ask for.
So in other words your a middle age man who sits at home and post intensely away with probably saliva drooling out of your mouth who retains little info ? Yep. I'm a huge Klitschko brother fan. But there is no real argument the division is a lot better on the whole right now. Quite possibly it could become one of the very best HW era's in history. I can't understand all the hate its getting from some people.
World class fighters , loads of competition and great fights , thats what makes a great division. There could be more top contenders at HW than in any other division in boxing. Some of the match-ups that can be made have the potential to be enormous mega-events. Its a great time for the HW division.
