DeGale may fight Eubank Jr in February

DeGale will probably retire afterwards regardless of whether he wins or loses. Eubank Jr will continue until he finds a weak champion who is there for the taking. Eubank has to move swiftly before Smith becomes undisputed champion. Thing with Eubank is he's horrible at range and he has no jab, but he's an absolute monster if you let him get close to you. Any of the champions who decide to go toe to toe are making a mistake. Smith won't fall into that trap, that's for sure. Whether the other champions will do that I'm not too sure.

Middleweight simply isn't an option for Eubank Jr. They are all too skilled and have too good movement for him.

 

I don't see him beating Canelo or Callum, but putting up a fight.

 

Canelo vs Eubank at SMW would be fun.

 

Think theyre both ranked high with the WBC. Id imagine Haymon has got it a final eliminator. Winner fights Dirrell/Yildirim winner later in the year, another unwarranted PPV the UK got to look forward to. Whoever comes out of all that fights Benavidez

It wouldn't. Unless you wanted CEJ to get another tooling that is. Crossfit champs don't beat guys with Canelo's level of skill and as much as I hate to admit it the little ginger diva does know his way around a ring.

 

DeGale is seemingly shot- so Eubank Jr probably knocks him out. People start hyping up Eubank again and then he loses within 3 fights to someone.

 

He was competitive against Saunders who’s on a similar level of skill to Canelo and a bigger guy. Let’s not pretend it would be a walk in the park for Álvarez, it obviously wouldn’t.

 

BJS had it all his own way against him before gassing. The gap closed because his conditioning was poor then.

 

Eubank

 

They will have to do it on regular ITV as not many will pay the PPV to watch it. Both of them have been out of the public eye for too long and have no momentum whatsoever.
I'll watch , but not on PPV.
