Looks like Usyk is going to stick with CW because he knows he will be called out again if he crosses over. Oh well I guess it was fun debating the outcome of the fight that never was.
Whyte is a handful for anyone. Anyone. He's better than when he fought AJ first time. Whyte is actually Wilder's worst nightmare.
FFS the guy hasn't even moved over yet, it's as ridiculous as saying you know why Menoyothin wants no part of Ken Shiro.
It took Whyte 10 rounds to get rid of Chisora who was winning the fight and Chisora got tired plus those stupid point deductions made him sloppy too (trying to get a ko to win). So I'm assuming the OP is saying that Chisora and Usyk are on the same level boxing wise?? I would disagree and say Usyk is a far far far far far better boxer than Chisora who would force the pace so mush that Whyte would struggle to land that punch..
I don’t think Usyks style is suited to heavyweight, that high guard defense is gonna get him knocked out against the big boys.
I think we can agree that he'll come to win against anyone and no matter how talented his opponent they are going to have to put a decent bit of work in to beat him. I think what puts a lot of opponents off him is that he is a handful - remember when Sakio Bika was like that at 168? - and on top of that he's an absolute pest in the build up. A lot of people loathe his playground antics and I can see why it'd give people another reason to file him in their who needs him club.
Usyk would set the pace, and would outbox Whyte until he gases in the late rounds and gets stopped standing. Whyte is top 5 heavyweight and definitively a top contender, but there are levels in this game, and Usyk is levels above any current heavyweight
