They fought each other in 1967 and 1969 with Castillo winning one and the re-match being a draw. Does anyone have information on these fights and how close and entertaining they were?
Sorry to change the subject of Medel vs Castillo, but I've never seen Medel vs Olivares and always wanted to. Is there footage?
Not that I know of and I’ve been searching for Olivares fights for around 15/16 years. It was in Monterey and I know the government basically made it impossible to get archive footage even if it was televised. It would appear Rose-Medel would be easier to find as it was at The Forum but I’ve not seen that pop up either.
