Vanes made 225k vs Golovkin. Derevyanchenko made 425k vs Jacobs(unofficial purse was supposedly bigger).

No one wanted GGG vs Derevyanchenko at that time, with the exception of a few fans. Dibella went on a small PR tour and suddenly everyone knew who the F Derevyanchenko was. Dude wen't from complete obscurity to someone Golovkin was ducking.
Even Dibella said that they didn't want the IBF to strip Golovkin. (K2 was unable to reach a deal with the IBF. They had made plenty of deals when Wlad was still champ)

So you're saying Deveryanchenko ducked the fight? First time I've heard that one. And if he had won, he could have written his own ticket.

Yes he fought Canelo... for FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS.

Let me tell you without a trace of humor here,Bro. If they offered Regis Prograis $20m to fight Canelo, he'd drop ot of the WBSS tomomorrow and start drinking milkshakes.

No, I am not saying that at all. They definitely wanted the fight, but it turned out there was no money on the table. And at the same time Golovkin got stripped.
Dibella and co were fine with waiting. No one was in any rush to make it happen, except the IBF.

GGG was signed to fight Korobov, and hits too hard for Derevyanchenko.

You don't understand what was happening at the time. When Derevy was calling GGG he wasn't able to enforce Mando status. Meaning his split of the purse would be smaller than if he did enforce mando which he couldn't have done until after GGGs fight against TBD which ended up being Vanes. When the fight purse was announced nobody who called GGG out was saying anything anymore. Derevy was either enforcing Mando right after that fight or fighting for a vacant belt depending on what action GGG took. GGG fighting Canelo over Derevy isn't a duck as Canelo was higher rated. Derevy was fighting for the IBF belt regardless of who it was against so thats clearly not a duck either. The only people shouting duck on either side are just people pushing an agenda.

Here's the classic illiterate start of a post..."So you're saying..."
Idiots who start with this sentence usually have no real point, so, hey, incorrectly paraphrase why not?

You're wrong there because he was fully willing to step up on 4 weeks notice , which is plenty time to prepare when so many belts were on the line to be won.
He even tweeted a picture of himself sitting at a table looking at a telephone.

Furthermore , the IBF did enforce the mando , Sergiy didn't have to. Loefler paid out 20K to get a postponement so Golovkin could carry on with the Vanes fight. He was told by the IBF , he'd have 90 days after Vanes to make the Dervo fight or he'd be stripped.
GGG knew that fighting Vanes would cost him his belt but he did it anyway.
The network would have obviously put up more money if it was GGG vs Dervo. He made 999K against Vanes because is was a disgraceful cherry pick.
Charlo fought Korbov on a weeks notice last week and Korobov would be one of GGG best opponents. That should into perspective what a cherry picking ducker Golovkin is :xmas::xmas:

In my perspective, Lou was pushing hard for the fight and badically said they were waiting for the phone to ring.

Why do you say he was fine with waiting? (Not arguing your post... just wondering, for my own knowledge)

To me, that was a blatant duck. So any info to the contrary would help my understanding of why perhaps it wasn't.

Di Bella acting like he gives a **** about good mandatories being given a shot when he's one of Wilder's ten managers would be hilarious if it wasn't so ****ing infuriating.
