Ali wasn`t as good as Tyson at 20, he didn`t start using his movement when he was 20, he didn`t look good at all v Doug Jones and was dropped, his chin didn`t seem as strong as in later years and his body hadn`t developed enough from lightweight, he looked a little too thin.

Did you read the part about the fighter having to be 20 years old? I forgot to put that in the title, it was written underneath mate.

Well could only really compare Tyson to other champions who were 20 or younger as champions.

I dont think there are many of them to be fair. Otherwise we would be going on utter guess work for a 26 year old champion, who hadnt even turned pro when he was 20.

Wladimir Klitschko only turned pro at 20 and we can hardly predict he would beat Berbick in his first 2-3 fights.

What I meant was Tyson developed quicker in the one or two years that he was pro than any other heavyweight in history except for Paterson maybe.

Agreed, I thought Berbick lost 4 rounds against a brain damaged almost 40 year old Ali.

In April 1935, Joe Louis was still 20 years old and he was 19-0. I'd pick that version of Louis to beat any version of Berbick.

Whether he'd have done it as impressively as Tyson did is another matter.

He did better against Holmes, I don`t get what you`re saying, Berbick wasn`t very good, but that`s a strange comment.

Looking hard at things there really isn't many credible names at all. Ali, Foreman, Patterson, Louis, all great mentions.

So he's one for those who love a bet at longer odds.

Teofilo Stevenson. At age 20 he won his first Olympics in dazzling style showing immense power. Tho early in his career many believe the stoppage of Bobick to be his best win ever. Could be potentially get Berbick out of there early?

Stevenson was not a good at finishing compared to Tyson and his head was too upright compared to the crouching Mike.

What has that got to do with him potentially getting Berbick out of there? Why would Stevenson want to be crouching and low like Mike when he has more than half a foot of height over him and almost a foot of reach on him? He can bomb from distance Tyson's wouldn't reach Berbick from with a leap.
