I thought that too. Needs his adolescent mouth washed out with soup.

You think Robert Easter is a cherry pick though?

The best thing about Loma is his all-too-rare drive to challenge and continually surpass himself. He seems to recognize his prime is too short to waste fights.... rare.

Unfortunately, 135 is a wasteland right now, Tank doesn't want to step up, and he's too small for 140. I can see him taking on the Commey-Chaniev winner for the IBF belt in May or June, then trying to fight Mikey in the fall.

If neither of those fights materialize, I'd much rather see him rematch Linares or fight Robert Easter than beat up on a bum like Crolla. He's going to have to move up to get better competition.

This makes sense. And then, after Mikey gets out of the hospital, and has four tune ups with no hopers, retires, unretires, is divorced and has no food in the fridge, Mikey.

An interesting thing. In one of the recent interviews Loma said that a possible Crolla fight would not be in the UK, but in the US... Which is rather strange.

Commey Chaniev winner, pick up his 3rd LW strap...

Crolla mandatory may come first though.

He ain’t never gonna fight Mikey. So it honestly don’t matter. Mikey will probably take an L in March vs Spence

2019 will probably be quiet for him unless a Mikey fight miraculously gets made.

He should still stick at 135 though, because that division has some great young talent on its way with guys like Tank, Lopez, and Haney.

2019 should be all about getting that IBF belt. The more titles he gets, the more it forces the young guns to try and go through him to get one.

I think the Teófimo López fight is the one that's most likely to geet made.

Tank Davis isn't eager to step up in weight. Devin Haney is young, not at all well-known outside the USA. He's a belt-holder, yes, but not a convincing one. Consider Teófimo López's performance against Mason Menard vs. Haney's and Haney comes off second best.

So I suspect Teófimo López vs. Lomo does happen in 2019. If Spence Jr vs. Garcia doesn't happen (and I think it might not) - then maybe Lomo v. Garcia happens in 2019, too. If not, Lomo has to take a look at 140 lbs.

Don’t know but if his injury is anything like Whytes,he could look ordinary for his next fight as well.
