Well it is more than likely Joshua v Dillian next so you might want to start giving this a bit more thought. If you want to write dillian off completely, please join the current ongoing dismissal crew.
Prime Tony Tubbs (if there is such a thing) and Rahman would both be top 10 and I'd rate both over Whyte.............The rest.................you're right
Don't get me wrong i am not writting Whyte chances completely off against AJ. However I would certainly make AJ the favourite in this fight. Whilst I would back Whyte in a potential fight against Wilder.
How good Whyte is or isn’t appears irrelevant; he deserves a title shot, no doubt. It’s only because he and Joshua stepped up early that people aren’t clambering for this fight. Unfortunately though, as it stands, people, including myself, think they know how a Joshua vs Whyte fight goes, because we’ve seen it before. If Joshua keeps his head this time I’d expect a more dominating performance.
AJ will knock him out again However Whyte truly gets under AJs skin and if he has a chance its to let him lose his discipline Whyte could shock the world it that happens
Whyte gets brutally KOd by both Joshua (again) and Wilder. And Fury would jab his head off for 12 rounds. So yeah, he deserves his title shot and yeah he gonna get it in 2019 but he will be brutally beaten there as he hasn't the level to compete there. I look forward to see Whyte getting KOd brutally in 2019 as his cherry picked opponent choice is over and he has to face the hard hitting guys. Parker and Chisora are good names but not dangerous. Chisora looked horrible vs. Takam until he knocked him spark out and Parker is featherfisted compared to the elite punchers. And still...Whyte was nearly losing to both Parker and Chisora. Parker knocked him out nearly in the last round and Chisora was ahead on two of the three scorecards.
And despite all that, Whyte is still known for being durable. All the punches he took from AJ for 7 rounds is more than enough testament to overlook the 12th round mistake he made against Parker. So you can strap that parker 12th round point to your forehead and jump out a window. Furthermore... I look forward to seeing you proved wrong just like you overlooked Whyte in his previous fights. Whyte knocked down Parker who never hit the floor before. And KO'd Chisora who only been down once before in 37 fights. Regardless if you think Parker/Chisora dangerous they are still TOP TEN.
I don’t think anyone here sees him having more than a 5% chance of beating AJ in the rematch. He does deserve massive credit for the Parker and Chisora wins, as he could have just sat around and waited for the shot in either April or September. All of the responses here are reiterating that he loses to AJ but has a much better chance against Wilder. In 2019, AJ and Hearn have already said that Whyte gets a fight in either April or September so we will be finding out soonish.
Don't forget Anthony Joshua's prediction prior to Chisora II saying both had OLD SCHOOL granite chins and none were getting KO'd. Well imagine Anthony's reaction ringside when he witnessed granite chin Chisora get slept by Whyte.
Yeah we will find out soon and you will be eatting your words about 5% chance. Like I said... rude awakening. Less than 2% thought Whyte would KO Chisora... not even Anthony who commended Chisora's granite chin and yet.... Whyte isn't a one trick pony... he will land it and he will set it up... and he'll work Joshua's body in the mean time. Joshua does not like Dillians body punches.
We are also overlooking that Dillian fought the BEST versions of Parker and Chisora. Everyone wants to put fingers in their ears and ignore that Chisora does not get up and train for anyone... bad blood meant he gave 120% in each fight. He wasn't that motivated for anyone else and he HIMSELF has said that was why he lost to Kabayel. Parker ran from AJ, but traded with Dillian with new zealand venom.
No. 1. Chisora isn't Top 10. Parker Top 10 is debatable. 2. The Parker fight wasn't under fair conditions. Whyte used illegal head butt to knock Parker down and so the whole fight wasn't held under fair conditions. It should be a NO CONTEST after the headbutt or a DQ win for Parker. Whyte is a bum. Easy. Padded record, cherry pick opposition, gift decisions, illegal tactics.
I was waiting for you to join. You know you are lucky because I was going to include a collage of all your hate comments for Dillian over the past 6 months but BoxingForum only provide 2 weeks worth of thread searching. What was it you said before..? You hate Dillian because he howls? Have you ever had your IQ tested? I am curious... I'll fund the test for you. Anyways, I give credit where credit is due. And credit is due here.
