Fury is not obligated to fight Wilder next . He has no belt and isn't the mandatory. So the mandatory of Breazeale will go foward.

Wilder won't have any realistic excuses when that happens and skips once again on a Joshua fight.

Wilder/Breazeale would be a good watch. Even the Wilder haters will tune into that mainly because Breazeale has fought Joshua.

Joshua looks set on a rematch with Whyte following that ring call out so a fight called follow as a result of that.

With only having had 26 fights and to have fought Joshua, Browne, Helenius, Chisora twice and Parker I cant see why you would think its so bad?
Remember 26 fights, then look at how many some of the other HWs have had and compare it.
    Doesnt look bad at all

    No.
    I'm serious about this.
    I fear for Dom B.
He can take a ton of punishment receipe for diaster against Wilder.
This could be another black eye for our sport I hope this doesn't get sanctioned. The oaf will be a walking punching bag

Breazeale-Wilder is an interesting fight, an even 50-50 match-up. That's why Wilder has been avoiding him.

Breazeale has only one loss. He's actually stronger than most of Wilder's past opponents, such as old Stiverne, chinny Szpilka and shot Arreola.

    i see wilder winning.

breazale isnt ready for this. but ill approve the fight. rematches are necessary but i still dont like them. fury vs wilder they both do need to fight again and im cool with it not being immediate rematch. they will settle there unfinished business down the line. wilder vs breazale is what i expect to happen.

there is needle between the 2 and wilder should have taken on way more american rivals before now

its why his profile was low in the usa
people in america are simply not intrested in names like dulhaupus/spilzka
out of sight is out of mind in the usa with regards viewing figures

breazeale is a low key fighter but he is american/ he is big/ he can punch/ just he is as limited as wilder technique wise and treacle slow/

but breazele is tough and can punch so it makes it more risk for wilder

i would pick wilder 5 to 1 on but its not without risk for wilder simply because of his leaving his chin out there when he loads up..

There's history between the two fighters but I don't see how this is any better than Joshua v Miller. Deontay beating the guy AJ already beat does nothing for him.

In all honesty I don’t think Eddie & Barry are really interested in making the Wilder fight before 2020 or 2021. Barry Hearn has mentioned several times over the last year that it would be stupid to match Joshua with Wilder while he can still make big money fighting less risky opponents, which from his point of view as a promoter makes sense.

This also turned out to be the case with Fury as well. When Fury had no other options on an opponent he could make good money with he gladly fought Wilder, but now that he can potentially make crazy money fighting anybody Wilder isn’t worth the risk anymore.
