Who wins? Golovkin vs Charlo

I think Charlo may be top of the MW division one day, but at this stage Golovkin would be a HUGE step up.

 

Charlo is pretty good but I'm yet to see something from him to make me confident enough to consider picking him

 

Who has tested his chin?

He has yet to face a puncher.

 

GGG has a better chance against Saunders than he does against Charlo. I can't see GGG ever stepping in the ring with Charlo. I think he'd wreck Canelo , and outbox , outmaneuver and out land Golovkin.

 

This. Charlo has the potential, but sometimes relies too much on his power and speed and leaves himself wide open. GGG isn't the type of opponent that is ever going to be beat by one good shot. Jacobs and Canelo found that out the hard way and both went negative to survive the fights.

I hate to say it, but after analyzing Gennady's last four fights, I think Charlo might be able to beat Golovkin. GGG has slipped significantly. He throws with less power, and is far easier to hit. I am not totally sold on Charlo, but, he is young, hungry, and angry. Against the Golovkin of 3-4 years ago, GGG wins, no problem. But, against this drastically slowed down version, I think Charlo stops GGG around 8.

 

Golovkin has everybody shook, now their hope lies on some guy named Charlo, the same guy that beat a cripple in their previous match.


The bitterness brings satisfaction, the tears of frustration are delicious.

 

I have enjoyed watching Charlo's fights, but am not really very knowledgeable about him.

Watching for the timing of this fight will be interesting.

I think he could push Golovkin quite a bit if he doesn't get a decision.

 

I'd love to see this fight ASAP. More so than the Canelo rematch.

IMO the WBC should've ordered an immendiate defense against mandatory Charlo. That would'be been the correct and logical decision.

But I can see why the most corrupt boxing organization would want Canelo vs GGG II. Too much money in that rematch.

Canelo will not fight GGG next May IMO, so we might still see this one. Maybe not in December but in the Spring.

Charlo is a bad man and he is about to upset the middleweight pecking order. Anybody is doubt should just keep watching boxing and you will be enlightened.

 

Charlo fought a cripple to become mandatory, he should fight Jacobs next...............a cripple will not do it...............
