For the trolls out there who constantly slander him. And for the more reasonable and boxing educated posters like InternationalButt who dont fully appreciate Pacquiao.

Name me one single Flyweight champion who could walk down and knockout a prime Miguel Cotto.

    You cant do it.

    That's the greatness of Pacquiao.

Legend of the sport. My all time favorite fighter. Never backed down from anybody. From 2003 to 2009 he gave boxing a kick in the ass that has never been seen before.

Truly amazing fighter. And I'll never forget Pacquiaos mid to late 2000s demolition job on boxing.

But Pacquiao fought a drained and destroyed Cotto. Clenelo and Floyd fought undefeated prime versions.

Pac was one of the greatest fighters of his generation, few will compete with his accolades and ability, however he is badly faded. This is why many great fighters often see their image deteriorate, fight fans have short memories and it’s easy to go off recent evidence.

IMO, Pac isn’t a serious player in the top bracket anymore but would still beat a number of young guns

Cotto said he wasn’t dehydrated. Cotto trainer said he wasn’t dehydrated. He fought 1lb less than his last fight. Yet people cling on to this?

People also forget that Pac climbed from 140 to WW, his last fight he weighed 138 vs Hatton and you’re criticising an already small jww for fighting at 145? Lol.

Of course cotto says that but anybody that isnt biased to their love for Pacquiao knows cotto was dehydrated when he fought Pacquiao. If Pacquiao is soo amazing, why didn't he fight Cotto at the ww limit with no catchweight? 1 pound less is very hard because you act like cotto never put on alot of Weight when he isn't scheduled to fight smh. After losing to Pacquiao, did cotto still fought at ww? Ummmm no in which easily proves my point.

At the end of the day team cotto signed for it. Maybe you're right but team cotto signed for the fight for a reason which is probably that despite the drain they thought they would still win as cotto was still larger than pac on fight night. Well that or cotto just got really greedy for that payday and didn't really care if he wins or not.

    Cotto says otherwise.
