Look an top prospect coming up, thought he'd become a world champion.

Then the Smith fights happened, which were close. That made me think his level is fringe world level/ or top european level.

But now he's with Ingle, and looked impressive at the weekend, and it's important to note is still aged only 26.

Do you think he has a decent chance of picking up a world title?

I think it depends if he can get lucky with getting a shot at a lower level opponent.

Ppl like Canelo at MW or Hurt at super welterweight are massive step ups

I rate him tho and hope he can.

No chance against Canelo, but I would pick him to outbox and beat Hurd now.

Same old question about his punch power at world level for me. If he had heavy hands he would be the full package

With the promoter he is with, I would expect him to be WBO no.1 shortly.

I'm sure he could snag a WBA regular title or something like that.

No chance IMO. But you never know and I’d love to be proven wrong.

At LMW the likes of Hurd, Charlo, Lara, Munguia all beat Liam Smith who beat Williams quite comfortably.

At MW you have Canelo, GGG, Saunders and Jacobs. Got to be realistic here.

Cutthroat you are correct. Only devastating power would put liam firmly in the mix

Williams is Euro/fringe world level. No shame in that. There might be an opportunity at a vacant belt but he’d only be keeping it warm for the current talent at 154 & 160, it’s beyond ridiculous the quality in them divisions. 168 in comparison is so weak apart from Callum Smith. It doesn’t surprise me that the 160’s are dipping their toes into the super middleweight division.

Makes the Charlo fella hit fresh air all night long imo
And that Liam in there beats Smith without minus the elbows and head butts

Billy Joe does fine without power just a good jab lateral movement and sublime footwork
    and some good combinations
Williams is 26 and is improving rapidly in the camp he's in imo

There not even on same planet in terms of levels though mate. BJS is elite on his day.

I think Liam Smith beats him again too. That rematch was fairly conclusive imo. I am biased though, really love watching Liam. Even when he’s getting beaten up he’s smiling away and coming for more.

Not right now but there training more or less side by side and ingle will move him up levels for sure and as someone said he's still only 26
    Time will tell
Smith was getting a clinic in the first fight and bent the rules to get the win in the second
The one thing in question is heart when the going gets tough like but again i hope he proves me wrong

Also BJS power is underrated. He put down Lee with a very short jab essentially. He also almost stopped Lemieux. As you said they are leagues apart. Liam Smith is a solid fighter but a Saunders level fighter would totally school him over 12 rounds.
