What a fight that would be, between 2 massive cheating turds ofcourse, that goes without saying. But what a fight. I think Ward finds a way, Ward always finds a way. To be honest its a fight ive never thought about as i never really expected Canelo to venture up to 168.

I'll take billy goat Ward to maul, butt, lean on, nutshot, potshot and frustrate Canelo in a god-awful fight where Ward's tactics eventually find the hole in Canelo's leaky gas tank and rip it wide open. Canelo probably up on the cards by the time the bigger man finally crumbles him late. Ward doesn't really have the style that Canelo likes to tangle with. He's a spoiling, rythmn breaker that's hard to predict and counter. Best thing against Ward is footwork to keep him at a distance and a top shelf jab.

 

And thats why i always pick Calzaghe to beat Ward everytime that old question is asked again.

I'd take zaggers too. He could be tied up and frustrated, but his handspeed and accuracy meant that the guy potshotting and holding was likely to take 2-3 shots to land his one.
