You probably never seen Jorge Louis Gonzalez , but he was an exact replica of Vitali Klitschko. They were the exact same and Bowe battered him from pillar to post. This information will be hard to process for a lot of people and most will flat out deny it , but the video footage does not lie. Vitali was greater than Gonzalez in terms of discipline and attitude , but he was no better boxer than him. Fact is Bowe has a guy like Vitali on his resume . Vitali has nobody like Bowe on his. The closest he has to a Bowe was an overweight past prime Lennox Lewis and he lost that fight. Fanboys pick Vitali , but reality favors Bowe.
Bowe needs to get on the inside to win this. Vitali will use his excellent jab and foot movement to try avoiding that. This is a close close fight. I think the ref has a big bearing in this....if it's someone who allows Bowe to work up close when Vitali tries to hold and spoil, Bowe wins a close points decision. If not, I take Vitali by UD. Either way I don't see a stoppage.
You haven't disproved what I said , so if you think they were nothing alike , why don't you tell me how different they were?? This content is protected You have to be pure dishonest to say that guy doesn't fight like Vitali.
Vitali is faster, more accurate and doesn't do that wafting left-hook-thing. Vitali is also much lighter on his feet and controlled the action through bodysway and distance. His timing was superior and his 1-2 was sharp and crisp. Gonzalez stands around like a big stiff idiot. But I should have guessed that somebody like Dino sees them both fight with their hands low and looking awkward and makes the connection: "Aha! Gonzalez = Vitali! I am a genius!" Vitali would have massacred Gonzalez.
They both fought a common opponent, Herbie Hide. Hide made Bowe work for the win and Bowe simply didn't have the power to finish him once he hurt him; he had to knock him down over and over. Vitali absolutely blasted Hide out of there. The moment he had him hurt it was game over. And that's the difference between a stone killer like Vitali and a sloppy brawler like Bowe.
[QUOTE="dinovelvet, post: 19609529, member: 94096"Fanboys pick Vitali , but reality favors Bowe.[/QUOTE] Poll is 50-15, son. Better bust out those alts to make up the numbers, quick!
Bowe was a favourite of mine growing up...He does not beat Vitali. Great skills from him, but he could be frustrated and thrown of his game, and as you say turned in to a sloppy brawler !
Vitali destroys Snipes, Gonzalez had a fighter in front of him round after round ready to be taken, scared even to throw and it went late, very late. He's dog **** and so is your trollin
You wish they were nothing alike because the thought of one of your beloved EE being compared to a Cuban is a big no-no. I know how your mind works. You're to boxing what Colin Wing is to football. Fact is Gonzalez and Vitali are FAR more similar than they are different. Thats not even debatable unless you outright deny whats staring you right in the face. A guy who dominates both Bowe and Lewis in the amateurs is no scrub. He doesn't have the career Vitali did and isn't close to him in terms of ranking , but he had good fundamentals being a decorated amateur. Vitali's fundamentals came from his kickboxing days and thats why he has so many holes in his game. His boxing stance was that of a converted MMA striker. He wasn't no master boxer and certainly wasn't on another level to a guy who wasted Bowe and Lewis in the ams. Thats not to say Gonzalez would beat Vitali so control your outrage. Whether you like it or not they fought almost exactly alike. No better way to prove it than by putting them side by side. This content is protected This content is protected
And Usher, who played Sugar Ray Leonard in hands of stone, is an exact replica of the actual Sugar Ray Leonard according to your logic. So, do you favour Usher to defeat prime Duran?
He never beat one fighter of note, a complete hype job. Vitali was h2h the best fighter on the planet for years you melt. I know how your mind works..Anyway, what's wrong with Cubans ?? Nothing wrong in losing to a Cuban anymore than there is to a China man
