If Liverpool win on Thursday, then it will take a real meltdown for Man City to recover a 10 point deficit. Cannot see this happening as the team are simply more than good enough now to win the league and also capable of having a good crack at the Champions League again. Think Rangers need to get at least 2-3 top quality players in - Solanke and two others as Celtic will be splashing out now after this. Cannot see Kent being good enough to secure a place in the Liverpool team but he played very well today - the lad should make a permanent move as he has found a home that suits him.
So you seriously think Hearn, who has the ego the size of an elephant (as does Warren) would be prepared to risk the embarrassment of losing a purse bid to Warren to potentially have his top prospect in Buatsi fight on BT in a fight which would generate massive ratings/interest...are you for real? I wonder what Buatsi’ manager, AJ has to say about this? I doubt they would be thrilled at the propsect. Hearn would no doubt entertain doing a deal with frank to host the fight on Sky- no way Frank would allow that though as Eddie wouldn’t either. When it eventually goes to a purse bid both will no doubt pullout. The Ohara Davies situation was different. There was no purse scenario and he was not considered to be a potential major draw like Buatsi. look, I would love to see the fight and I have started to be very critical of the direction of Yarde’s career, however I’m not going to beat him off the back of Hearn’s BS spin.
