Should the winner of this epic clash be considered the best female ever in the UFC? I feel they should.

Yeah I think so, it's arguably the biggest womens fight in history so with a win I think both would have legitimate claim ,especially if Cyborg wins since I'm not really sure there would be many options left for her, since all the best bantamweights will have moved up to challenge her and the featherweight division is basically non-existent apart from maybe the Cat Zingano vs Megan Anderson winner.

I have to fast forward...anything Rousey related has been bigger, but that doesn't necessarily mean better.

Cyborg was here before Ronda. Cyborg was here during. Cyborg is here after. She is the most imposing fighter in female MMA. If she wins, she continues to be what she's always been.

Nunes is a smaller fighter and that is significant.

I'll say yes. The winner of this fight is the best in Female MMA's short history.

If Markant post 46 threads in 1 day in all the forums will he be the greatest thread starter or just a pain in the ass attention seeker.?

Amanda pretty much has to be the GOAT now right? She's the only two division WMMA champ. Not only that, but Rousey and Cyborg were the only two women who could challenges Nunes' claim to GOAThood and Nunes iced them in less than 100 seconds total. She also gets huge props for twice beating Valentina 'Bullet', who will very likely surpass Rousey and possibly Cyborg too. And bonus points for also demolishing poor Meisha Tate's face before nearly wrenching her jaw off her skull, and then leaving Raquel Pennington bowing down in worship in a pool of her own blood at the end of that fight.

Most WMMA fights lack a sense of danger. When I tune in and watch girls like Randa Markos or Meisha Tate fight, I don't get the impression that anyone is in real danger of getting hurt. Jessica Andrade and Holly Holm have produced some good kayos but typically win by decision or submission.

In that respect Nunes is unique. Outside of the two relatively uneventful fights with 'Bullet', she's wrecked everyone in devastating fashion. She was blasting Ronda's head back like a Pez dispenser. It was one of the most humiliating beating I've ever seen. Even when Nunes lost to Cat Zingano, she apparently gave Cat brain trauma that resulting in a thyroid problem that persists to this day.

Amanda Nunes is what you get when you combined outstanding athletic talent with great coaching. She learned BJJ from Ricardo Liborio and boxing from Howard Davis Jr. That's good stuff. If Nunes looked like Page Van Zant or Michelle Waterson she'd be a mega-star by now. She's ugly, but she's a super legit fighter.

Nunes has beaten the best two WMMA fighters in under a minute each. So she certainly should be up there.

I'd like to see her against Zingano and Holm tbh.

Is is a stretch to say Nunes is one of the best strikers in all of MMA , mens and women? Another fantastic performance again from her.

I don`t she`s as ugly as Cyborg and I feel Holm took away Ronda`s claim to being the greatest before Nunes exposed her further and the way Cyborg beat Holm puts her above Rousey also, great to see former Olympian boxers training MMA fighters though, Pernell Whitaker has suggested he might start training MMA fighters because boxers don`t listen to trainers anymore.

You mean she may be the best striker ever in the weight classes she`s fought in, a lot of heavier fighters punch harder, it would interesting to see her punch the machine that Ngannou punched to see how close to his heavyweight world record she could get though.

Holm was easily beaten by Cyborg though, she`s too small and weak to match Nunes`s power.

Maybe, or maybe she would neutralise her with precision punching.

Zingano was easily beaten by Rousey who was easily beaten by Nunes who was easily beaten by Zingano.

    Triangle theories don't always work.

Nunes has improved and her body looked bulky and strong at feather, Holm doesn`t have any power and is ageing and slowing down.

I would also favour Nunes. But the favourite doesn't always win.
