So exactly how do you interpret the rules then??? Read them.... They clearly state that if the fighter "leaves" the corner, the count shall be postponed until he return to the neutral corner, where the count shall be picked up again.... Do people read things anymore??? How is this BS??? Did you see the links... lol Come on... If Jack Reiss failed to give the proper count, then you have to admit, the other mistake that he made at the time was not giving FURY MORE TIME Either way, Wilder loses his strap in the next year... your boy got found out (again)
Yeah because the referee is that good at fixing a count he can do it in hundredths of a second. Apparently eight one hundredths of a second at the start of the count according to you, now that is some serious fixing/counting talent, almost computer like, we should be asking the question.. is the referee a robot? So, if I'm understanding this correctly Fury got an extra 1/5 of a second according to that video? Counted by human beings, in the middle of all that noise, chaos, sending Wilder to a neutral corner and also while constantly evaluating if Fury was in condition to continue. ONE FIFTH OF A SECOND AND YOU ARE TRYING TO TELL ME THERE WAS A CONSPIRACY? So you see how desperate you're looking here? You realise how ridiculous this sounds?
We should compare this video to the extra time Wilder was given at the start of what ever round it was against Ortiz and see how got the given more time to recover. It seems people claim Fury got 0.6 of a second extra. Wilder got about 18 seconds against Ortiz.
Looking at the knockdown again from this angle and... wow. Tyson Fury went down like he had just been shot. Whether one believes the fight should have been waved off or not, (or if you believe the count was a bit long)... the fact that Fury was even able to get up from that on relatively steady legs -- and then go on to take over the rest of the round -- is definitely noteworthy.
But we all know that it was a very very delayed count, that is the most noteworthy fact of them all. Yes he got up, but it was far beyond a normal 10 count. If you can't see that, you must be wearing some rose tinted glasses
At 10 his knee's were off the canvas, also the start of the count started the second he was down which isn't how counts are initiated. Typically the ref makes sure the opponent is in his corner, then goes up to the downed fighter and begins the count. It's not ideal, it's not a perfect 10 count, but this is how boxing has always been.
It's very simple. Far from being a constant, time is affected by gravity, in the presence of a strong gravitic force time will slow. The densest object in the universe* is clearly Deontay Wilder and thus it's no coincedence that counts undertaken within his presence appear to be longer than normal. *with the possible exception of certain contributors to this thread...
Lol you realize this video exemplifies what I posted. The dude pushed GGG to go to his corner, then went to start the count, which increased the length of the count slightly. Also Fury's knees and hands were off the canvas before the other dude, at 10:36 the guys hands are still on the canvas and Fury is standing. 10 counts are never 100% accurate. Another point worth mentioning is that Fury got up more convincingly than the other dude, who struggled to lift himself off the canvas. Instead of being butthurt, you should be content with the fact that Wilder got a draw in this bout.
How does one get up more convincingly when it was after 10 seconds? He was knocked out in this fight, he didn't make a legitimate count. IF you can't see that, go time it yourself. Jeez
MVC must be the biggest fanbaby on this site. Dude, you have no case. You're literally shaking beans in a tin.
