I don't dislike any fighter due to their fan base.

I dislike the fan bases of some fighters .

 

If you dislike a fighter due to their fan base, you are weak minded.

That stuff should be beneath the “aficionado.”

 

There are exceptions to every rule.

Mike Tyson
Deontay Wilder
Lennox Lewis
Jack Johnson
Rocky Marciano (yes my own fandom is annoying)
Roberto Duran
Sugar Ray Leonard
Actually any Hispanic fighter

And last but certainly not least,

Floyd Mayweather

The most annoying fanbases definitely belong to Marciano and Mayweather.

 

Why "any Hispanic fighter?"

 

If a fan base makes a person dislike a particular fighter, than that person probably isn't into boxing deeply, and has rudimentary love of boxing. But their are some fan bases that are quite hostile and refuse to except others opinions on their favorites fighters without reacting antagonistic . Monzon, Lomenchenko, Golovikin and Mayweather Jr, fans, are you listening?

 

Goddamn I concur , in my opinion a majority of Pac-Man fans are just that his fans they care nothing for boxing and I do know it’s wrong to dislike a fighter for that reason , I’m human.

Because they always whine about how Hispanic fighters are underappreciated, it gets old.

You should obviously know that I'm generalizing here, I don't think this of every single Hispanic fighter fan, it's just what I commonly see

 

I wouldn’t say it’s a “fan base or fighter” but the modernists that think only height and weight matter.
