    Two instances where the referee interjects themselves in favor of one fighter at the most critical time in the boxing fight.

    Anyone who has eyes that can see can see that it was an extremely delayed slow count administered by Reiss, it was almost or damnit just as bad as the end of Bute Andrade. You see Marlon Wright literally administering the slowest count ever and even stopped counting mid way to start yelling at Andrade even thought Andrade was in his neutral corner standing there purposely giving Bute more time to get up and recover. Bute was completely out of it.

    Any more instances of these things happening?

    I have no problem with Reiss/Fury. The count was just fine and Fury showed tremendous recovery. We can't even say Reiss had some bias toward Fury.

    In Wright's case though, he was Bute's personal referee for years and did save him with that count. BUT Bute had been schooling Andrade for 11 rounds and a half, prior to being completely gassed, and gave Andrade a rematch and KOed him.

    How can you say the count was fine when it was clear it was a bogus count by any objective measure? Lmfao.

    It's CLEAR that it was more than 10 seconds and you even saw Jack Reiss delaying the count half way

    We all know why Reiss helped Fury, it's blatant.

    As soon as Fury went down Reiss looked at Wilder to make sure he was in his corner then preceded to count Fury. Unless you have a turbo up your ass his ten second count was fine.

    Fury got up and was fresh. He didn't have shaky legs, he wasn't wobbling around and he ended the round beautifully.

    He completely schooled Wilder for another 2 minutes and rocked him a couple of times. Fury deserved this round to be scored 10-9 for Wilder way more than Wilder deserved a stoppage victory.

    Theres no controversy in either case

    Fury beat the referees count and won the rest of the round

    Bute went down beat the count and the round was over when he got up

    Nit in any way comparable (MVC knows that, that's why he created this thread), but the funny thing is, they both beat the count fair and square regardless of the referee.
    In Bute's case it's the referee who made it controversial, because he didn't have to safe Bute at all, but he tried. In Fury's case there's no real controversy despite what the disappointed Wilder fans came up with.

    They made the count, even in seconds fine

    In order to support your argument, you need to do a comparison of Reiss counting out another fighter. If there is a marked difference, then you may have a point but, if he counts the same then, there is nothing to cry about. I think it's a bit unrealistic to think a ref will be able to count out 10 seconds exactly.
