The IBF won't grant Warrington an exception.

Seems fair if they already gave him one.

I'd much rather see Warrington fight one of the other belt holders, but seeing that slimey wee creep Galahad getting beat will be a decent consolation.

That's all good. I think I'd prefer to see him finish off the British fighters. He only needs to beat Galahad and he's cleared that out. It also allows him to have a tiny breather, because a fight against Santa Cruz or Valdez are much more high paced fights than one against Galahad would be. He needs it after facing Selby and Frampton.

A shame Warrington doesn’t punch a bit harder...

The IBF are usually on the ball with mandatories so it's no surprise.

Probably a good thing for Warrington- homecoming in Leeds against a beatable opponent before looking to unify in the states.

Frampton was introduced as WBO 'interim' champion so that would now make Warrington mandatory for Valdez. If they think they have the beating of Valdez they should bin the IBF. Frampton v Galahad would be a proper grudge match though and the build up would be intense and personal. I can see the Leeds boys really giving it to Galahad and If Barry is smart he will give it back like Ohara Davies did in Liverpool. Also have the Hearn/Warren factor, no doubt Hearnz is bitter about Warringtons success in fact I'm sure that was a motivating factor in getting Galahad to mandatory.

Be interesting to see if he performs as well as in his last two fights when he's expected to win (if he fights galahad).

Warrington would sort Galahad out no problem but I’d rather see him fight Valdez

Yeah I don’t mind this. We’d also get to see Warren destroy Hearn at a press conference.

Not that he could but why would you want to see Warren destroy Hearn?
I grew up with Warren don’t mind him at all but can see him for what he is...
This guy would rather dissolve his own company’s than pay people ... numerous
Times also famed for pulling fighters and shows...... Eddie actually pays his
Fighters and gets them what they are worth ..... everything he has done has benefitted
The fighters and made boxing more mainstream again and popular which it needs...
Frank was chased off sky for failing to deliver .... has showed time and again that he’s a bit of a crook...
Again I still don’t mind him..... just don’t get the match room hate at all......
