Yeah because I am sure they would have both been down the foodbanks at Christmas had it of been a regular Sky Card
So you think Whyte should given up about £2 million quid so you could watch it on normal Sky? I could understand people complaining about the event if it flopped but you just need to accept that there's a market to watch Dillian Whyte on PPV and you're not part of it. I was out that night so I didn't buy it I might have had I been home.
He was fight a geezer that looked like a corpse 12 months beforehand. Eddie is extremely good with Sky of selling these narratives of they deserve a payday. But he would have earned a massive wedge. It is like charging a score to watch Southampton vs Spurs or something. "These fights cannot be made without PPV" is an incredible line from Hearn. Sadly people believe it
The fighters aren't stupid. If they think they'll make more money having fights on PPV then they'll ask for PPV.
And if they charged that to watch Southampton Spurs and it was a massive success that makes all involved a load of money what do you say then?
Regular Sky broadcast regular content, not live boxing events with boxer who are not affiliated with any organisation that gives them a fixed salary. It's a contract job, they get paid through promotions...and you don't promote events for free. When you have come to learn of this fact you will understand that it is a pipe dream to expect Dillian Whyte boxing events to be free on your 80 a month subscription plan. We might aswell give you a free car as well to accompany your free set-up box and router. Whyte @ 400K+ buys is a draw, and justification in of itself. Jeez... you pay 80 a month and you think you are entitled to all content on planet earth.
I don't get paid for posting about PPV's but if you know where I can sign up please let me know. I should get paid for discussing PPV topics, if that;s what im doing. I don't get paid unfortunately.
I forget why we are all arguing? You slag of Whyte, you don't want it to be PPV.... so you can watch the guy you are not interested in watching...? Then don't watch? 400K want to watch it... and Whyte is getting paid.. Clearly this boils down to the fact that certain posters on this board don't want to see Whyte make money.
I think its more to do with people being tight. 20 quid really isn't much. I couldn't have a saturday night for £20 doing anything i'd want to do....
Mate these posters are hypocrites trust me... they waste 20 quid every week on jack shits... I guarantee it. They just want to whine like women.
