Crawford V Khan - is this the biggest FU in sky boxing history?

There's no point in the Crawford fight. We all know the outcome.
At least with Brook/Khan it's not a foregone conclusion.

 

From a sheer entertainment point of view Brook/Khan is the better fight.

 

Khan will never fight Brook that much is obvious. He would rather take less money and get stopped by Crawford than a bigger stadium and UK pay per view blockbuster with Brook because he is afraid to lose to Brook. Not a very smart or shrewd fellow this Amir Con Khan.

 

Khan is going to get badly damaged by Bud Crawford. The only way the fight goes to a decision is if Crawford was to carry Khan but no way in hell will Bud carry anyone. Crawford and I mean this in a complimentary way for all his superb all round boxing skills is a mean nasty SOB in the ring like Sugar Ray Leonard. Khan cannot outbox Spence, Garcia or Thurman. Garcia already knocked him out brutally. Those who know boxing saw what Garcia was doing to him because of Garcia's great timing. A fight with Spence is suicidal for Khan. As for Thurman give him a fight with Khan and his injuries will disappear.

 

I don't believe people when they say they are no longer interested in a Khan Brook fight.

 

Has it occurred to some of you that khan actually wants to fight the best ??? Fair do's to him

 

Bigger shocks have happened in boxing than Khan beating Crawford. Yeah it would be a shock but they happen every year.

He is getting beat up and stopped by Crawford.

 

He does not he just wants the money. he knows he is finished at top level hence would rather lose to Crawford than hated domestic rival Brook.

 

It wont in this fight and even Khan knows he cant win.

I don't think people are that bothered about it now. If he gets KO'd again then who wants to see shot Brook KO shot Khan?

We all know how it goes including Amir who seems to think a loss to Brook would hurt his legacy in the UK a lot more than one to Crawford would. Khan don't want it. Everyone knows it and it will follow him as he's the guy people think would of lost.

Calzaghe and Hatton were fortunate in that if not a majority then lots of people would pick them over Froch and Witter confidently. I don't think many would favour the Glass King against the Brownie Maker.

 

That's the hardcore answer.

Crawford vs Khan is another mismatch, cash out fight for khan.

It's Canelo vs Khan all over again, but hopefully Crawford finishes the job.

 

Khan has virtually zero punch resistance and although Brook doesn't look that great he would still KO Khan and Khan deep down knows it so Khan has settled for less money against Crawford and his own peace of mind, that's all.

Khan knows he couldn't live for the rest of his life with the constant reminder he was knocked out by Brook.

 

Prefer that than Khan-Brook to be honest.

And as much as Brook says it won't be, the Khan-Brook fight will absolutely still be an option once he gets iced by Crawford.
