No point hating on Eubank Jr. He's managed to convince ITV that he's a draw and worthy of ppv events. Would anyone turn down a bigger paycheck if they were offered it. Same for Degale.

I have the boxer beating the brawler. Degale has boxed at a higher level and been in with significantly better opposition and had success, albeit not recently. It should be like the Groves fight with CEJ being made to miss and Degale countering. If CEJ wins then that should be the end for James.

If Degale stops that ducking on the ropes nonsense and has a go he bets Eubank

The irony of blokes criticising this fight for being a PPV, while embracing Whyte/Chisora as PPV is hilarious! At least DeGale was a world champion recently, something neither Whyte nor Chisora will ever be.

Of course DeGale/Eubank shouldn't be a PPV, but that's what happens when people buy the likes of Whyte/Chisora or Bellew/Cleverly.

I will say one thing; DeGale/Eubank will be an absolute cracker to watch. That's a great clash of styles at this stage of their careers.

Degale wanted nothing to do with Uzcategui and gave up his title. I think that says all you need to know about where Degale feels that he is at. Not knocking the lad, it makes the best business sense getting in the ring with Junior but it shows that he’s just after making a bit of dosh and getting out the game. That to me is not the right mindset when you get in the ring with someone as hungry as Junior. Would love to see Degale rolling back the years and putting on a great performance but it’s been a few years since he last had one.

Any live opponent stiffs DeGale - the injury finished him at the top level and all he is doing now is a race to the bottom.

They are talking about the London Olympia...it's a PPV ITV!!! This fight is Manchester Arena or O2 territory. If you are putting it on PPV then surely you must be confident that it sells tickets, it makes no sense whatsoever to then go against that view and put it in London Olympia. How many tickets does that have, anybody know? Like 5k or something? If they don't think it sells tickets, then why on earth is this a PPV? ITV's team need to get a brain (If the venue choice is true).

As for the fight, I expect DeGale to send Eubank Jr to school but you just can't predict what DeGale will turn up. If Eubank gets in close he can really punish DeGale. However, he's tasted Badou Jack so nothing will really properly hurt DeGale in this fight. As long as DeGale keeps his distance he'll dominate on points. If not, it's a 50-50. Switch off for just a second and Eubank will be onto him.

I’m still waiting for someone to give me a good answer as to why they are a fan of CEJ. Arrogant **** who’s been exposed both times he’s stepped up

Tell me a boxer who isn't arrogant?

Ffs Young Christopher is one of the most exciting fighters in the game.

He wasn't exposed by Saunders at all, I and many others including 1 of the judges thought Jr won
Let's be honest Billy Joe is no slouch. The boy can fight.

I'd still take Jr to whoop GGG, styles make fights. GGG is old, slow and low out put.
Jr has had issues with blokes that have moved and ties up his work on the inside (clinching is actually illegal and excessive clinching like Groves got away with should be penalized)

GGG doesn't move or clinch and would be a sitting duck.

CEJ will win if he fights at any kind of pace and whilst I don't rate him at all these days he is always ready to go 12. Degale has arguably never been truly ready for a 12 round fight in his entire career and coasted after 4 even in his biggest wins on the cards.

I think Degale is there to be taken by CEJ and will be. The Jr and his delusional old man will be talking up how they can spank Canelo before the red headed cheat jumps at the chance to do an absolute number on him on DAZN.

I dont think they believe they can fill an arena with this fight? I think they are right. Degale has never been a ticket seller and his a shot fighter. Eubank is all talk and its not an easy sell this fight.

    Needs a good undercard...

Can’t see it doing well, I’d watch on ITV but no way would I pay for it.

In fairness Jr is great entertainment in the ring and a comedy act outside the ring alongside his old man. DeGale can't help but get dragged into a war and at this stage of his career, Jr will be too quick and fresh for him. I see Jr winning by late TKO due to DeGale taking too many shots

Jr will never win a world title but he's good to watch and this is the perfect fight for him. He'll beat DeGale and land a decent payday. It's a pity less than 50,000 will see it on PPV because it's a cracker of a fight.
