I'm a true boxing fan and just because a fight is close doesn't make it a robbery when the fighter you prefer doesn't get the decision. I scored the 1st fight a draw BTW and felt canelo won the rematch. People like you seem to have trouble coming to grips that a guy many of you picked to KO canelo didn't phase him and drew and lost to him.

Porter-Garcia was close, a fight that genuinely could have gone either way.

Canelo-Golovkin was not close, as press row and fan scores indicate. They nearly all had Golovkin winning, margin was the only debate.

Canelo did better than expected but still lost, same as Jacobs.

I get it, you wanted GGG to lose, think he was overrated etc. But as a boxing fan you need to be honest with yourself, GGG didn't lose either fight any more than Kovalev lost the first Ward fight or Wilder drew with Fury.

These things didn't happen inside the ring, not in the view of press row, or in the view of fans only on corrupt scorecards of bought off judges.

You need a life jacket before you post in any GGG thread otherwise you'd get drowned by his fans cry baby tears.

If GGG whips Sturm and Zbik in Germany back in 2008-09, he's well on his way to making big dollars the rest of his career. If he smashes Pavlik and or Martinez, his checks are amplified. There's little doubt Alvarez represents the single biggest payday, but I imagine his overall earnings are larger if he gets his shot back in 2009-10.

Lets face it he only took the rematch for the money. He knew whatever happened he was losing on the cards again.

But for the money he got 2 losses in the L column, for fights he clearly won, isnt perfect compensation but it is still ample compensation.

Clenelo though knows he lost both fights as do all the boxing fans

what is with so many posters having such a foggy memory of the first fight ? after the first fight, one thing most could agree on was that it was a very close fight, but ever since the rematch and especially lately I see a lot of posters admitting that the 2nd fight was close but acting like GGG clearly won the first. That was not the prevailing sentiment after the first fight. the outrage was over the wideness of the Byrd card, not that it was close or that Canelo won.

It was competitive. Not close. Golovkin chased that boy down and fed him all the punches he could eat.

The second fight was close in the sense that Canelo didn't run all night and stood his ground. But Golovkin landed more and harder shots on Canelo than in the first fight and won it more clearly. If that fight had been 15, Canelo would have been dropped for good in the 14-15th round. He was running on fumes. Oscar could have squirted pure clenbuterol into his mouth from the water bottle, wouldn't have made any difference.

The Byrd card was merely the cherry on the cake of the robbery.

Bah, He $crewed himself to set up a trilogy trifecta payday.
Should have gone for the knockout in at least one of their 2 fights if he truly cared about legacy. But understandably he wanted 3 paydays vs risking a one & only KO.

Porter-Garcia was no closer than GGG-Canelo 1. I picked Garcia to beat Porter and scored it for Garcia but I didn't cry robbery like GGG fans did when he lost and drew with Canelo. People like you simply don't understand that a close fight doesn't equal robbery. You also need to learn how to deal with a loss better. You're nothing but crybabies at the end of the day. FFs before the first fight all we heard from GGG fans was that he was going to make Canelo leave the ring on a stretcher well that didn't happen now did it? Canelo won the 1st 3 rounds and the last 3 and GGG won all the rest which is a draw. In the rematch we heard that GGG wanted it Mexican style well Canelo brought it backing him up busted him up and beat him up and won. And people like you are still crying, it's embarrassing.
I'm a Garcia fan I didn't cry robbery when he lost a close fight in which I scored it for him. I'm a Charlo fan and I didn't cry robbery when he lost a close fight that I scored for him. Why are GGG and his fans still crying robbery like bitches? You girls need counseling, I guess this forum is a support group for GGG fans who struggle to get over a loss.

Froch Bute is someone getting their **** pushed in.

Winning the majority of rounds on the majority of the world's scorecards is something to complain about.

You may think the Golovkin hype was way too much. You may think he brought out the worst in a certain set of fans you don't like who hung on to him for stupid reasons but the sport loses when we cheer the wrong decision.

I don't want to see fighters get jobbed period. And Canelo's cards are as shady as hell. I said at the time judging on the likes of the Mayweather, Trout and Cotto cards were ridiculous biased in his favor and it needed to stop.

Golovkin will also be a great what if because the other fighters of his generation in his division bottled it when he was in his prime and lost to him when he was faded.

FWIW I think I'd pick Jacobs to legit beat Golovkin now and hope he does an absolute number on Oscar's little ginger rent boy.

Pimp is/was always a Floyd fan first, boxing fan second.

Hell, he hates 3G just because back in the day, 3G was asked about a fight w/ Mayweather jr. 3g said he could beat floyd. That alone pissed off every single floydfanatic....

If you play the game in Boxing now you can set yourself up for life....Golovkin a relatively Poor Man who comes from one of the Poorest Countries you can live is now set up for life for being part of this corruption....He Won the first Fight easily %90 of Fans and Scribes and even His Peers say that and know that it still astounds me that who I would think are quite Knowledgeable Boxing Fan's could think any different.. ...It is a Blight on Boxing the Corrupt Judges being a common thing now day's but I seriously think Golovkin deep down when he retires will look back and think..."What A Ride"
