Ward could have fought ggg right before he signed his 4 fight deal with HBO. He wanted ggg then called him out but ggg was scared and came with the catch weight ****. Ward said screw him moved on and beat a guy people said he would never fight and if he did would get koed. Ward didn't wait around a dead division like ggg did at 160 looking for a hand out. He dared to be great and moved up to take on new challenge. GGG could learn a thing or two from ward.

You know im a Ward fan but I really cant consider that a duck by GGG. GGG had his eye on big money fights against Canelo and even possibly Cotto on his radar and even a remote possibility of a FlIVd fight. Ward wasn't sure if he was even going to fight at SMW anymore and moved up so that didn't help either. GGG moving up to fight Ward was big risk little to no payoff so why do it when you had a goldmine in a possible Canelo fight? If they were both in the same weight class then it'd be a clear duck but this isn't the case as I don't see the need for that fight to have taken place. Btw we both know Ward beats GGG like he did to Kovalev. Ko 8 lol!

Ward went to 175 for Kovalev who at that time was considered to be a true monster man. Trying to bring a natural 147 pounder up to 154 to fight a middleweight that's dropping six pounds and will rehydrate back to 160 or better is not sacrificing anything. Floyd couldn't make 154 for the fight with Oscar. He came in at 151 so what you are saying is irrelevant. GGG didn't want that Ward work and you know it.

I guess they just delivered that tub of glue to your house, right? Don't breathe it in all at once dude, save some for next week.

Also, you may want to go back to school and sue your English teacher because you don't understand what you're reading. You did read where Ward said he wanted no part of GGG, right? Did you understand that?

I'll send ya a chrome hubcap to polish.

And yet Floyd said GGG was #easywork. Golovkin was prepared to go down to a weight that he'd be a mummy at. Funny how Ward wasn't prepared to do 168, though, a weight he'd fought at for most of his life. It's totally relevant. Ward wants guys to "go up and come down" but he himself isn't prepared to do that. Golovkin was prepared to do that for Floyd.

TLDR; GGG would beat both Floyd and Ward to a pulp with his nutsack.

"At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers - I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter - I'm not interested in the reason, I only heard your "no."

Ward was more than ready to fight GGG at 168 and would have beat the brakes off GGG. GGG was talking tuff because he knew that Able wasn't going to allow that fight. Ward was his own man and asked for that fight but Sanchez knew that little G didn't stand a chance. GGG was standing behind Sanchez barking like a little dog behind a fence. As for Mayweather, sure GGG wanted to him to come up to 154 where he would have a severe advantage in size, strength and power. Mayweather talks a lot smack but he ain't no fool and he was not about to give up that much advantage even if his skill level is far superior to GGG's.

... yet he declined the fight twice.

As for Golovkin, sure Ward wanted to him to come up to 168 where he would have a severe advantage in size, strength and power. Golovkin talks a lot smack but he ain't no fool and he was not about to give up that much advantage even if his skill level is far superior to Ward's.

... oh, wait, that excuse only counts when Floyd uses it, right?

    You should hear yourself.

Obviously, in reality, Golovkin talks minimal smack, and was prepared to give up "a severe advantage in size, strength and power" to make the fight at 168. Ward declined.

Translation = They PRICED themselves out.
Ward wanted to share the purse 50-50. Thats how you get fights made. GGG was not a draw in 2014.

"We want Carl Froch because he's retired"
"We want Chavev Jr because he can bearly beat Brian Vera at a 172 pounds"

^Those fights were not a reality.

"We don't want Andre Ward because we'd rather have easier fights for less money against Dom Wades and Willy Murroes"

The Kovalev fights prove GGG would have earned a career high pay day against Ward. He would have made more than Kovalev since PPV would have performed better.

GGG bottled it. He ran from the bigger guy and like a typical bully and instead targeted smaller guys like Brook , Cotto , Bradley , Floyd , Pacquaio , Vanes and Canelo.

Both Canelo and Ward proved their greatness by moving up and facing their boogeyman..
Bird balls GGG ran like a coward from his.
