Feel a bit sorry for DeGale, would have been oh so different for him if the judges had scored it correctly against Groves all those years ago. Will probably watch it though, its only a tenner, and i enjoy laughing at Eubank snr between rounds.
Really think a sensible way to do this IF it has to be PPV. Stick the card on ITV 1 from 7.30, then have the main event on PPV. Amount of people watching who would just pay the tenner would be much higher than just a full PPV card. Also 2 hours of solid advertising of the PPV
If Degale has anything left he will probably win, but if he is finished has shoulder issues and tries sitting on the ropes he will get punished.
The Degale that faced Truax twice gets stopped by Eubank by sheer volume and pace. He needs to have made massive improvements, I just don’t see it. Eubank TKO around round 10
Has it been confirmed that it'll cost a tenner, or are yous just guessing? Eubank vs Abraham was £17 so I doubt this will be cheaper than that.
Is it possible to add a poll to this thread? I would be interested in seeing the outcome. Just browsed to the forum to potentially make one myself but seeing this thread didnt want to dilute it. Just had a look at what the bookies thought and was suprised to see Jr as the favorite. I would have edged Degale due to resume at SM and being naturally bigger, he can also box.
I think even before the this though Degale has always taken a lot of rounds off and that gives Eubank a chance. Would still back Degale all day but it would have been more competitive than Eubank v Groves. Now, as you say, theres more that Degale cant do. That's what makes this fight interesting as its levels it up a bit. I guess we will see on fight night if Degale still has more left in the tank.
