Loma said he was 100%. I've never seen fans make so many excuses for a fighter. The Loma is a natural featherweight is hilarious. That means Floyd is a natural super featherweight, and Mosely is a natural lightweight. Guys start their careers and then fill out. You can't say a man is a natural featherweight when he is taller than Timothy Bradley, and Shawn Porter, built like a tank and handles his business at every weight he moves into.
Lol yeah. Do you not realise what he(Loma of course) does to same size fighters ?? Have you no eyes ?
I tried this back when Bud was still LW or just after. Consensus was that Crawford was just too big. I see alot of people talking about Gamboa in this thread; I think that the Gamboa that was supposed to fight JML 10 years ago or so (was it really that long?) would have been a very live underdog against this or any Lomachenko. That Gamboa might have knocked Loma spark out at 122 or 126.
Gamboa it must be noted had only 2 fights in about 3 years leading up to Crawford. His fight prior to Crawford was 12 months before. Funny, no one ever mentions that.. Hilarious thing is Loma has probably already eclipsed Crawford at LW considering he beat Pedraza (who shut out Crawford opponent's Klimov & Beltran..) & Linares, who would brutalize an older LW version of Gamboa (who's done nothing at the weight other than get a gift over Sosa & a UD over B- level Perez)..
LMAO @ trying to bring up what happened to Gamboa after Crawford like it's relevant. He also shouldn't have lost to Sosa. I guarantee if Loma fought Gamboa instead of Sosa you would not be saying the same thing. One of Loma's top wins lost to a shot to pieces Gamboa YEARS after the Crawford fight. And "if more so"? LMAO, Crawford completely shut out both and didn't lose a round. Pedraza/Beltran had scorecards of 117-110 and 115-112 lmao, and this was an older 37 year old version of Beltran LOL. Nice try! Oh since you're bringing up **** that happened years after a fight, why not bring up a fight that happened BEFORE? Pedraza got utterly annihilated by Tank in a non-competitive one-sided beat down, while Loma look like **** compared to him. How many times has Linares lost? LMAO, I can't even remember. Dude was losing on the cards to Mitchell too LMAO. I rate Linares so highly because I said that bum ass Flanagan who lost against ****ing Hooker should cash out? Hahaha. You sound mad that the majority thinks Crawford would win, and on a pro-ee forum.
Loma is not the type to make excuses. If he had both legs broken and said he was 100% would you believe him? Jesus Christ
No he really wouldn't and he really isn't. To be fair to him, he is really good at beating up on C level fighters he outweighs by a significant amount, though. The only question I have about the outcome of that one is which round Crawford pulls the no mas.
lol Loma's already a better lightweight than Crawford ever was and this is despite him being undersized for the weight whereas Crawford was gigantic for it and him fighting with a serious shoulder injury from the 2nd round onward in his first fight at the weight against an opponent who held every conceivable physical advantage (something Crawford would know F all about) over him and him coming back too soon for his 2nd fight at the weight after having undergone surgery to repair the injured shoulder, again against an opponent who held almost every conceivable physical advantage over him.
Of course you would because you don't know **** about boxing. Duran at 135 would run Loma out of the ring dummy.
Crawford by late stoppage in a close fight. Loma is the better fighter p4p for sure, but Bud is WAY bigger and that size matters.
