Agreed entirely with your list though. Anybody who calls Lomachenko a hypejob isn't living in reality.

Loma isn't a hype job. Arum is moving him in an odd manner though. The man left both featherweight, and superfeatherweight having fought only 1 of the top guys in two divisions. Russell Jr. is a hell of a win, but what about Leo Santa Cruz, Valdez, Machado, Berchelt, Davis? He left two divisions that had some talent, and went to a division that doesn't really have any outside of Mikey Garcia.

The other featherweight division champions between 2015-2016 were Gary Russell Jr. (WBC), Lee Selby (IBF) and Nicholas Walters (WBA). From all those three names, two actually had fought or eventually fought Loma and lost.

Leo Santa Cruz was still fighting in 122 and only joined featherweight at the time Loma moved up to 130. Valdez only became champion once Loma moved up and vacated his belt. In 130, Loma actually targetted Salido, Davis, Berchelt and even Corrales, but no one of them wants to fight him, only talk, talk and talk. He fought Sosa who actually had the WBA title that now held by Machado.

I like the progress from Loma and Top Rank team in his 135 campaign. After securing WBA belt from Linares, they has been targetting the belt, not the holder or potential holder, by talking directly to organization and both camps. So whoever come out as the winner in a title bout will fight him in unification match. It seems now they are targetting IBF in the same manner too.
