I think this is a good match up. Both similar builds and style of boxing. Would had been a good fight.
Unless you guys have never really watched Brunos fights but they have every similar styles. I cant see any difference expect that AJ is taller.
Oh but I have, AJ is a lot faster and more explosive than Bruno ever was. To top it off he was more aggressive and had more bottle, it spells early night for Frank IMO.
Bruno has the longer reach and has a good jab, Joshua can't jab he can't fight tall, watch the povetkin fight, he crouches and covers instead of using his height and jab and movement.
AJ wins via TKO midrounds. AJ hurts him and Bruno freezes as usual and gets stopped on his feet. It would only be competitive for the first 4 rounds.
Much as i'd like to say Brunnnnooooooo , i can't Joshua is bigger, more explosive, better finisher, better inside game and much more. Bruno had a really good jab that would keep Joshua at bay for a bit but just can't see him taking Joshua's shots. mid round ko.
This. Joshua is still green and makes a lot of rookie mistakes that would get him beat against a prime Bruno. That said Joshua only has 22 fights and is still a developing fighter, so his skill-set may one day surpass Bruno's, but it hasn't as of yet.
Bruno is a really nice guy, love the man and what he did for British boxing, but God he'd be outclassed by AJ.
Yes! You;d think he was shorter than Povetkin in that fight. Bruno can also take punches and his jab will give AJ trouble all day.
