Jesus Christ. How long are people going to argue over GGG and Ward in this thread. Get a ****ing life.
Its there in black and white, that Ward offered GGG a contract, I don't think that can be disputed. What I will say is why did Ward only offer the deal when GGG was contracted to fight Lemiuex? And we know the deal involved GGG having to wait for Ward to have his tune-ups. Can we say it was really viable for GGG to accept everything on Wards time and have him wait until Ward was ready?
I think Holyfield pretty much fought everyone put in front of him. Its hard to think of names Holyfield did not fight during his prime years, and he had a long prime.
GGG is still fighting right now til this day and after Canelo was ready to fight Ward. Ward in comparison decided it was in his best interests to retire at the ripe age of 32, rather than try to make the fight happen with another ATG.
I dunno man, what u want me to say? Ward may have swerved Bivol and Gvozdyk by retiring early(can never be proven) but GGG sure as **** bailed with a parachute on Ward.
Come on man, quit playing with yourself, You know in your heart of hearts that GGG ain't got nothing for Ward and there is no reasoning for fear being a motivator in Ward not fighting GGG. That shoe fits GGG's foot and even then, I wouldn't say fear but an awareness that there was a 99% chance that he would lose and lose bad. I watched the interactions between camps and I listened to the fighters and I am sure that when the window of opportunity was there for the fight to be made, GGG's team was not on board for no other reason than the fact that they felt they wouldn't win and I don't blame them. It was a good call. Now after Ward moved up and dusted off Kovalev, he made a decision not to come back down, The window of opportunity had closed on the fight so all the yapping done by GGG and team was just that. Yapping behind a fence.
Jus a few, Cotto Pacquiao De La Hoya Malignaggi J Toney (would fight his mom prolly) Holyfield Ricardo Mayorga
Ward could have had that fight if he wanted it. He was the bigger man, according to you more skilled, and he would have been cashing in big time on Golovkin's popularity AND, if you are correct, getting an easy win over a highly rated opponent. Yet, he never took it. That's all I need to know about who would have won.
Mayorga Anyone anywhere Bika never shyed away neither always game even when totally outclassed Michael gomez for sure Lomo Whyte Linares never sited away either lacked a bit of heart at one put but the seemed to gain it as his career went on other than lomo great to watch asteically Others I ain't mentioned for sure loads
Regarding GGG-Ward; Kovalev-Ward was one of the best fights to make and neither time it happened, did it do even 200k buys. For some reason Ward was never a draw. Ward would need to face someone like Canelo, who attracts an audience.
And ward made the biggest and baddest one his ***** in kovalev. You remember him dont you? You picked him to destroy ward just like the rest of the ggg dicksuckers. Log off.
