    I feel Lewis wa awful in this bout, very predictable and easy to hit, am I being harsh?

    I think it's one of his best showings.

    He proved his chin by overcoming a rocky start. He then changed the momentum of the fight with quick accurate punching.

    And it's home to my favourite boxing clip of all time.

    Both men did great. Briggs stuck to a good game plan and scored an unofficial knockdown on an ATG champion. Lewis recovered and picked him apart with good technique and accuracy, he really knew how to finish a guy when he'd bother to let his hands go. Briggs showed bravery getting off the floor and bringing the fight to Lewis every time. Good little scrap.

    It's hard to believe that it's over 20 years ago when I watched it on HBO. It was viewed as a terrible mismatch, Briggs overachieved in the first round when he stunned Lennox, and knocked him into the ropes, and did well in the second round also. After that , it was business as usual for Lennox, but Briggs showed a lot of heart, getting up from a few knockdowns.

    But he was too easy to hit, Briggs is predictable, he wouldn`t have landed a shot on Fury at all, let alone Ali.

    Lewis was far too central, a better heavy would have knocked him out coming in straight lines like that.

    Yes. But it was still more than enough to ko the overrated Briggs.

    Briggs got a gift over an ancient Foreman and didn't even deserve the shot at Lewis.

    Briggs looked the part, but couldn't fight much.

    Lewis knocked him out quicker than either of those would have done.

    Some will have you believe it was Lewis who had the title shot against Briggs.
