You know I believe this would be a terribly boring fight. We already know what Virgil Hill’s game plan would be ( the same for every fight). And Mustafa Muhammad was known for his low output. His biggest flaw was that he wasn’t busy enough. Hill jabs his way to a stinker
Mustafa, probably by decision. He'd consistently slip the Hill jab and get some hard counters going to the body. His power would keep Hill subdued enough to put rounds in the bank. If he lands a big right hand it might get exciting in there pretty quickly.
Eddie's best fight was when he broke southpaw Marvin Johnson in half to win the LtHvy title. Eddie's worst fight. being 201+ lbs, and losing against 215 lbs Renaldo Snipes. Which Eddie shows up?? 1981-05-17 : Renaldo Snipes 215 lbs beat Eddie Mustafa Muhammad 201¾ lbs by SD in round 10 of 10 Location: Ballys Park Place Hotel Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA Referee: Vincent Rainone 7-2 Judge: William Kostrub 9-1 Judge: Paul Cavalier 3-5 Referee Vinnie Rainone at 7-2-1 and Judge William Kostrub’s 9-1 for Snipes naturally was based on Renaldo doing all of the aggressive fighting, or, whatever of it took place. Long time Jersey official Paul Cavaliere, the other Judge, had his card announced at 5-3-2 for Muhammad! Following the bout Cavaliere was adamant that he had Snipes the winner, but Deputy Commission Robert Lee refused to change the card. Apparently Paul had the boxers mixed up while giving the rounds to Snipes, he marked them for Muhammad. If going on Eddie best night ( Marvin Johnson ) then this focused Eddie would be a difficult night for any LHW Champ. Not the weight drained version who lost his title to Spinks and still went the distance. Eddie pts.
Amazing that MSpinks only had 16 pro fights when he won the title against Eddie M (And his brother Leon only 7 pro fights when he won the Hvywt Title against Muhammad Ali).
Hill by decision. The one thing about Hill is when he fought someone good who was aggressive sometimes he did better and would land his counter left. Which was a good punch.
