Yep, it must really hurt those brain cells of a guy who doesn't think a fighters dimensions have any impact on said fighters style and success at HW........

The significant difference being that at least Briggs knew he was ****ed, by the end of it.

I know, it's best if you call it quits.

Stick with your little fantasy that Louis would wipe at all the current HW's.

    Meanwhile in reality.......

Fighters don’t weigh in on the day of the fight anymore, so it’s difficult to ascertain actual weights. Let’s keep in mind that today’s skilled super heavies have other advantages as well. Wilder, for example, is 6’7” and Fury is 6’9”. Louis and Ali would be munchkins in comparison.

    Maybe this can make sense.

If the difference between middleweight and light heavyweight is 15 pounds, and the difference between light heavyweight and cruiserweight is 25 pounds, the difference between Joe Louis at 200 pounds vs a 240-pound man is TWO FULL classes up in weight.

Maybe a really good fighter can beat a guy two weight classes above him if the larger man isn't very skilled ( which Louis did ) , but the best at heavyweight since Bowe often are skilled.

Have I stated that Louis would wipe out all current Heavyweights? No, I have not.

The fantasy is clearly yours, since you are the one, who is randomly generating statements and falsely attributing them to other posters. It's no one else's fault but your own that you just can't help straw-manning everyone else's arguments.

The fact that you lace this unintelligent behavior with a triumphant tone is sad, but amusing, nonetheless.

So what is your point then?

So you agree with me but just like to argue for the sake of it.

What is your stance on the matter? Please do tell me.

Louis would likely lose by knockout against AJ and Wilder, both have massive power and both are not afraid to use it.

I just don't think Louis had the footwork to avoid their shots or the chin to take them.

He would have the best chance against Fury IMO, he might be outboxed but could see him landing something big at some point and possibly getting a late stoppage.

When did I ever say that.

In fact I'm pretty sure I said the exact opposite to you when you asked me to try picturing how Holyfield would have fought Lewis with longer arms.

You should know. You originally responded to my 'point'.

The fact you seem to have forgotten this speaks volumes.

So do you think Jarell Miller is going to beat AJ Wilder and Fury since he's another few weight classes higher up?

    1) show me the post where i said Ali was glass jawed because of the banks fight

    2) never said it was impossible for him to still be growing

    3) so you think cooper was a better boxer than Liston? Because thats the only conclusion you can reach based on your logic. Either that, or Cooper hit harder. Which is it? Because liston landed plenty of shots.

    3) why did you list two 3)'s you imbecile?
