You're right, I mean it doesn't tell you that Wilder has knocked out every opponent he faced
It tells us Wilder has a 95% KO ratio and Baer had a 82% KO ratio.

It shows that Wilder is a more effective puncher, to top it off that is against opposition that was much heavier on average.

I think it's safe to say that the more effective and IMO the bigger punching Wilder would keep Louis down for the 10 count.

You don't have to spell it out to imply something.

Well your skills of understanding implications have been grossly exposed in this thread so I wouldn't try reading between any lines if I was you.

It seems you are easily confused, you believe a fights outcome is decided purely on styles. You don't seem to grasp dimensions count in boxing. Height, reach, weight, nar that means fcuk all in these fantasy bouts.

I'd love to see your romanticising opinions change if you had to put down your hard earned money on these smaller HW's of old. I know for a fact you wouldn't be betting on the Louis for a clean sweep.

So when Usyk moves up to HW you mean? Damn right I'll be betting on him, hopefully he'll be a huge underdog.

Well yeah, he only just sparked out arguably the best HW out there who was saved by the grace of God.

It shows how hard the man hits when God is needed to survive.

Ok, let's see who he fights then. If he faces AJ or Wilder show me that betting slip.

Yeah but 4 years ago he was a much more effective puncher.

If a blown up CW 6'3 210 lb Steve Cunningham could knock down 6 '9 Fury why couldn't the Brown Bomber ? I am sure with modern training techniques and nutrition a lot of these so called Joe deficiencies small size and slow footwork could be improved immensely. I doubt Joe would have a clean sweep but he would be competitive.

You said Ali was a frail weakling and still growing. Your words not mine, so i want you to elaborate. Do you think Ali had a glass jaw when he fought banks and cooper, yes or no? Pick 1 and only 1 response.

I thought these "fantasy" fights were between two fighters as they actually are/were. If you make Joe Louis bigger and faster he isn't Joe Louis.

Steve Cunningham was lean and muscular at 210 , he wasn't a small person who gained weight, he just didn't have to cut weight when he fought at heavyweight. He was 6-3 or 4, big framed with low body fat, he just fought in an era of day before weigh ins, which made it possible for him to fight at a lighter weight. With the day before weigh in any heavyweight who weighed around 220 could probably have taken the water out of his body, weighed in at 200 the day before, and been back to his regular size by fight time.
