No, I mean super wild left hook. Wilder posesses it since he always throws huge windmills with both hands at his opponents after he hurts them.
Fury didn`t look that good when he turned southpaw a few times against Wilder and he couldn`t hurt Wilder the way Ortiz did.
I agree with all of that except I don`t feel Joyce is very good at landing any of his shots, he`s very predictable and has only met fighters with poor defenses thus far.
the thread isn't about predictability, it's about hard punching. Joyce is anything but that , look at the short chipping shots that ended his Lenroy Thomas fight , a short left hook as you get. His right cross is very damaging that's why he's on my list.
And a good thing for Wilder because if Fury actually used his best punch which is a left hook in southpaw stance and landed them it would have been a different fight. Wilder wasn't lunging into Fury like he was Ortiz when he met a straight left. We don't know how Fury actually looked because he chose the Orthodox stance as the main tactical approach .
Oh right, I wan`t, I thought they meant who was good at landing specific punchees, I mean you can`t compare Joyce`s power punches to Mie Tyson`s, because Tyson`s were faster and sharper, Joyce`s punching is all about strength.
I specifically added "professional career" in my post. You brought up the amateurs because you have nothing else.
You've got nothing buddy. Wilder has never touched the deck or been beaten by lesser men like Wlad, Vitali, who ever Sconiers is, plus bringing up some amateur stuff is like saying, GALVATRON loss a fight in 7th grade, he can't fight. Show me in his pro career like I mentioned where he was dropped, stopped, or laid on his back.
Jab - Pulev Left hook - Povetkin, Joshua Straight right - Wilder Right hook - Ortiz I guess Right uppercut - Povetkin, Joshua Left/right swings - Wilder
