Amir Khan is going to shock the world!

This sums it up.

Not that I think Crawford would easily beat a prime Khan, he'd struggle imo, but Top Rank wouldn't have made this fight if they thought Khan had anything left.

I don't think so. More than likely he gets hit clean and knocked out again.

 

When I read the thread title my first thoughts were.. "Somebody needs to take Khans mobile phone away from him immediately.."


The only time Khan has shocked me is when that Skype video was leaked and when he accused AJ of smashing Mrs Khan.

 

I would be shocked if he stays on his feet for 12 rounds.

 

Crawford is a better and more rounded fighter than Khan. There is no real advantages for Khan, He has a half inch in height but a three inch reach disadvantage. Crawford has excellent speed himself and he punches in combos. All hard. He has a great jab is a superior ring technician. He also has a very respectable chin. He is a merciless finisher and all that spells doom for Khan.

 

Crawford got great reach and hits harder than Khan.

 

Crawford has a harder punch than Horn.

 

Amazing to think they are the same age yet Khan has never been rated in the top 2 of any P4P ratings.

 

Khan always made mistakes and got caught, he can`t beat big punchers specifically when they are at a higher level than anyone he has ever beat.

 

No lightweight could knock Crawford out.

 

The biggest fallacy about Khan is that he's a great boxer who is only held back by his chin. Yes, he has blazing hand-speed and throws good combinations....but he's exceptionally limited in so many ways. He has zero infighting skills, and is a relatively modest puncher.

Watching Peterson simply walk through him and batter him during the 2nd half of the fight tells you all you need to know about Khan's inability to deal with different styles.
